Hoping to keep things rolling while recovering. Ate turkey breast tenders I grilled, and tonight I'm doing hand pressed burgers.

I'm doing a house remodel and dont have a working kitchen (the sink and stuff isnt hooked up). I wasn't able to stick to 800 cals a day while doing things and living off prepackaged/ fast food. I upped my cals to 1000 and will do 30 mins to 1 hour of cardio a day instead. At 1000 cals I can have a 300 cal lunch. I will also probably live off these 600 cal walmart marketside salads, because yeah I dont have anywhere to cook for 2 weeks... It's this or takeout.

i found the cure for my allergy to deadlifts.
by breathing through my nose, instead of my mouth, and into my gut while pressing my tongue into the roof of my mouth i can get proper core activation. also have been having a problem keeping my back tight, but i started my warmup with snatch grip diddles and after that everything felt so right.
also, thanks to whatever anon suggested i try barbell hip thrusts for extra glute work. once i got a few layers of padding onto the bar, it felt great.
also no longer getting a craving for sweets. i had some cherry coke zero this morning (also recommended in a previous thread) for a little bit of caffeine, and i've been satisfied all day.

The only calories I'm drinking are the 200kcal of whey every day but I do log them too. Well I guess I do occasionally drink some tea sweetened with stevia but I don't think this is the hidden calorie bomb. I also autistically weigh every single thing I'm consuming.

could be a combination of factors.
for one, our weight fluctuates several pounds day to day so even an entire month's progress can be hidden by some water weight or not having fully digested/passed what you've eaten.
secondly, hidden calories come to mind. extra things like condiments, additional ingredients, or eyeballing serving sizes can add up to several hundred extra calories for some people.
third, you could simply be improperly weighing or measuring things. some foods lose a lot of water after being cooked, so "one cup" of one can be significantly higher in calories than the other. additionally, not using prepackaged amounts or a food scale at all can fuck with you.
add them all up, and you have a shitstorm of fat.
100 calories from condiments, another 75 from misweighed beans or whatever, and 150 from misjudged serving sizes and you've all but depleted whatever healthy deficit you've planned for yourself.
my advice is to
>1: cook all your own food if you aren't already
>2: find and keep using the same couple brands you like. you'll quickly be able to accurately eyeball serving sizes and macro breakdowns
>3: cut back on condiments, and use low calorie ingredients to dishes. spices and peppers over store bought sauces, shit like that
>4: unless you're doing more than an hour a day, always try to up cardio before lowering calories. it's easier to accurately take into account its effect on your TDEE than cutting portions back

just my experience so far, but I've found that just always aiming for clean-ish food is much more sustainable than turning it into a constant challenge. Decent results, but it was pretty hard. I think it was harder because I wasn't in keto before I started. I bet if you did an extended stint in keto then started the water fast it would be a lot easier.

muscle separation is now apparent in my shoulders and quads, even with poor lighting.
I'm more motivated to shape my muscles, I've developed some imbalances from benching so much, so I'm gonna try to balance my shoulders. Doing more high volume work to try and give the muscles more shape.

I've lost some strength on this cut, but I've made peace with myself. Once I get down to 12-15% I'll lean bulk and hopefully get most of the strength back within a couple weeks/months.

Honestly its a good feeling when you get leaner, but holding on to muscle while cutting is really a struggle. I think I might just start going to the gym more, and up my calories to try and recover some of the muscle. Maybe maintain my weight for a couple weeks and lift heavy before continuing the cut.

Today was a mixed bag. Had a slice of cake and Five Guys for dinner but later did light weights (about 200 reps) and then jogged for 25 mins straight. Finally managed 4k. I'm going to keep going and take today on the shoulder.
I'm actually so happy I can finally jog for so long. It's been a while since I've felt this good.

I'm not sure if I'm answering your question right but go to the gym and get a membership. Mine for example is a year membership but I can cancel at any time for like 20$ so I said fuck it I'll give it a shot. Read the sticky and googled stronglifts. Took my phone to the gym so I could figure out what I was supposed to do(the program tells you everything step by step if you google it) and I was so weak I started with just the bar and that was heavy. I had no muscle and I was 380lbs. The only bad part is I felt like everyone was laughing at the fat fuck who can't lift any weights.

Fast forward to now, I lift more than almost everyone but the roid users at my gym, and I'm not even joking I'm the most regular member of the gym(6x a week) and people usually come up and talk to me etc....So my advice is google the program, record what it is you need to do, find a comfortable starting weight regardless of how low it is, and give her every week. I'm 335 right now but I've got big muscles coming in that you can legit see thanks to noob gainz. Also if you havn't yet get your diet in check that will really make a huge difference. I only just started counting calories and macro's last week and I've been able to push my lifts to PR's every day now since thanks to the energy I'm feeding myself now.

You can make it bud, you just need to be committed.

The only reason to weight yourself every day is if you are keeping an average to make sure you're still going down each week. Example add all your 7 days of weight ins up and then divide the total by 7 and do the same for the next week etc....and as long as the average is going down you are set. If its not then you cut some calories or add exercise or both and try again. Its really good for tracking long term progress but it can get depressing.

I still have a small belly and love handles. Got a bit more muscle definition, especially around my shoulders. Legs aren't just bags of lard anymore. The fact I'm a bit chunky is almost impossible to distinguish under clothes now, which makes me really happy. Much better than I was at my heaviest. Hopefully at this rate I can get down to ~15% bf by mid September, in time for summer. It'll be really nice to finally take my shirt off without being embarrassed.

Are you trying to lose weight or just bodyfat though? I found I stalled at ~72-75 for a month until I pumped up my weight training volume to 3 on days, 1 off, repeat.
