I don't believe this to be true. People, consciously or otherwise are always scanning for optimal traits in other things/people. When we see someone who is overweight (specifically obese) we're recognizing that they're not an ideal partner to make up 50% of our offspring based on 1) discipline 2) the chances that they'll live a long and quality life 3) how they may negatively affect the offspring by passing down poor habits/traits 4) their own possible faulty/non-optimal genes. And then of course for us on a less reptilian level we realize that these people are slower, use more resources, are frankly unappealing to look at (and I think that beauty is of a fundamental importance to all people because it's something we aspire to in each other, our art, our ideals, etc.) and again that ever important trait of discipline - which then branches off into things like reliability, trustworthiness, etc.

Accessories, start your day with light weight squats, PERFECT form (.5 pl8) do higher reps to get your endurance up, 8 or 10 reps, 5 sets. Then move onto some other accessories, leg extensions, box jumps, wall sits, etc etc. Do this 2 times a week for 2 weeks then move up in weight.

Watch videos online of how to squat, Clarence Kennedy has great form, just watch some of his squat videos.

You will make it anon, don't forget to eat, eating an extra 500 Cal or so after lifting is worth it, even if it is shit tier food (guilty of a McDonald's mcdouble with no top bun on ocassion)

I'm german so it might be different for other people, but over here it used to be pretty easy.
Now they changed it so its a new job that requires three years of training to get your certificate.
Its a mixture of theoretical stuff, practical stuff, doing EMT work without being payed properly and getting a drivers license to actually drive the big ambulances.
I dont know how the pay is since i only did it part time, but from what i heard its not great but its not terrible either, the real problem are the hours.
If you're lucky you get a chill job where you dont have to do too much, especially if you live in a more rural area, there you're usually fine with the hours, you wont have to work overtime too much.
In the city its worse, the chances of going drastically over your required hours is very high.
Aside from that there's is a fairly high danger of injury, especially back related stuff and if you're too old to do the work you're basically kind of fucked.
Smart folks around here finish their three years and then join the fire departement, since they actually give a shit about your wellbeing and job security.
All in all its a fun job, but you're going to be in danger of becoming a cynical jaded asshole since much of what you're doing is pointless and in the cases where its not pointless, you're going to feel bad for the people you're trying to save.
Not that i'd call giving CPR to some 85 year old vegetable saving, but thats really different depending on your point of view.
