Are aesthetics really the ultimate goal? What is the actual point of strength training?

>What is the actual point of strength training?
To lift even heavier things.
>>41605311
Why? Aesthetics and skill at a sport impress people and in turn improve self esteem way more than doing back squats. You can't even put lifting as a hobby
Lift until you can carry the weight you're already carrying with you
>>41605301
The last one should be "Lifting as ascesis"
>>41605356
Why? Because people who aren't pathetic don't need to impress other people to feel good about themselves.

>People don't need to impress other people to feel good about themselves
Except that's the basis of self esteem according to psychology. Try again please

There's no point to any of it. Train in whatever manner is most enjoyable for you.

here's the RIGHT one
dyels
Is this accurate?
U fuckers are really goddamn ignorant about it.
Strength training is essential if you are natural. you WON'T gain meaningful strength by doing 3 sets of 10 on your dumbbel curls.
Strenght is ESSENTIAL to promote muscle maturity, which is what you will need to both bulk up and cut, because if you don't have strenght while cutting you WILL lose A LOT of muscle
Volume = Sets x Reps x Weight
If you do not have a solid weight to lift, you WON'T be able to put volume in, which is the basic for aesthetics
There isn't such a thing as lifting separetely for aesthetics (only if you want inferior results). If you already have decent lifts, you can do whatever aesthetics routine you want, but if you don't. WORK ON YOUR STRENGHT and do acessories for aesthetics
I'm not preaching for SS + GOMAD, but just don't leave strenght aside.
On the other hand, you can just pin a ton of substances so you can do a brosplit and with the level of knowledge you probably have about training to even ask that question you will even look like shit roiding
Aesthetics are important to me but I also do it in order to maintain the quality of my mental health. I wouldn't feel 'right' if I didn't run and do body weight exercises at least 4 times per week. Being fit also makes it easier to practice and play sports with more skill and intensity. Lastly, I honestly don't have to watch what I eat in order to stay lithe.
