On a positive note, I got my lab results back today. No longer pre-diabetic, my HbA1c was 5.6, which is at the top end of the normal range. I don't remember what it was two years ago when I got lab work done, but I remember doc saying I was in the pre-diabetic range, so pretty happy about this. Take a muffin baking sheet (the little cup ones)
Beat together 6 eggs and 1/4 cup of milk, along with salt and pepper
Shred some ham (personally prefer black forest) and put it at the bottom of the muffin cup trays for 7 quiches
Pour in milkeggs mix on top of ham
Drop handfuls of shredded cheese into the mix
Cook for 25-30 minutes

Hey /fat/ I've got a question I'd like some input on, So I'm at 250 lbs for 290 lbs over like 3 months. However, I recently took up a job in the health care field where I walk at least 5 miles a day. And I just cannot eat enough calories I feel. This past week I've only eaten around 1,000 calories a day. Stemming from this loss of appetite. Any thoughts or Advice? Is this okay? I'm 120kg (which is like, 260lbs) and losing weight is so hard, I know I'm pathetic and there are no excuses for being as weak as I am, but fuck dude, I fuckin' love soft drink and shit so much, I can't get enough of it. If I had to choose between coke and a nice dinner I'd pick the coke every time, I feel disgusting but I've been this way for so long now that it's hella difficult to cut soft drink out and do regular exercise. So I made it and it was pretty great man.

I brined for 3 hours with a solution of salt, honey, added some parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme. Jk, I didn't have any parsley or sage. Made a rub of salt, pepper, garlic, and paprika. Worked great with chicken.

Also, I was sure to rest the chicken in the oven. I think that helped a lot.

Truly delicious, I'll have to do it again soon with more, better-quality chicken. This impress the girls for sure. The chicks will get all hot and bothered.

Pick a source, I guess. It's worked for me. It depends on the diet that you're doing - if you're in keto, knocking yourself out of ketosis is difficult to stomach - it's hard to get back in. Sometimes, if you've been hardcore dieting, you can feel sick after putting carbs back in.

The reality is, just try it and see if it works for you. If you've plateau'd, adding an extra 20-40% calories in carbs for One Day is not going to fuck over your weight loss for life. Wait until the water weight drops in two days, and see if it made a difference.

I'm almost the same as you, but I have larger shoulders - started doing pullups as soon as I hit 90kg (78 now). You should lift and be under a small caloric deficit (100~150 calories only). Eat more sources of protein to build muscle faster, and keep count of your macros. Try to restrict carbs as much as you can, since you aren't bulking.

I'm currently down from my original weight of 165Ibs from four weeks ago.

The way I've attempted to tackle cutting is by using Vyvanse and a 16/8 intermittent fasting routine with one bi-weekly 24 hour fast.

However, I know that losing this much weight this quickly means that I'm also burning some muscle along with my fat, and I'm at the risk of yo-yo'ing with one wrong move.

So after fasting for 16 hours, my breakfast would start off by eating two egg whites along while drinking one scoop of protein powder.

For my lunch, I'd have 1 cup of fat-free yogurt, a piece of whole wheat toast, and a can of tuna for the spread.

For dinner, I'd have 8 oz. of baked chicken cutlets using 1Tbsp of olive oil, 2 cups of steamed broccoli, and 0.2 cups of brown rice.

Then, an hour before bedtime, I'll finish it off with a scoop of protein powder.

So my macros would be:
155g of protein 51%
105g of Carbohydrates 34%
20g of fat 15%
Half of them being monounsaturated fats.

The total calories would come out to 1,223 calories. Which should have me losing around 1-2 pounds per week. It doesn't seem like a lot of calories, but for my height it's what many fat loss calculators call for if I desire to lose 1-2 pounds per week.

My questions are, am I on the right track by sticking to a meal routine like this and just rotating the meats out to give variety, or will I just fall flat on my face quickly?

Secondly, I'm not working out currently but I've heard that your body needs around 1g of protein per pound of body weight. I know that if I stay at a calorie intake around 1200 that I would lose weight, but if I were to maintain a protein intake that's proportionate to my weight now ~150g of protein. Would that mean that I'd retain all of the muscle that I currently have, and would only be losing fat while cutting?
