This, I live with my GF in a major east coast city and it's really just impossible not to end up eating out and boozing from time to time unless you want to tell your friends to get fucked. I guess a part of it is that I have hoarder tendencies that I've worked my entire life to control. I don't buy tons of figures like you're probably imagining, but I have accumulated quite a bit in the years that I've been collecting.

My reasoning behind collecting is nostalgia driven. I only collect toy lines and characters that remind me of the good times in my childhood. Therefore, when I look at certain shelves in my collection, I can feel the same good feelings I had when I was a kid playing with toys. It's kind of hard to explain, but that's the gist of it.

Yeah I do, but that's because I had a spare bike laying around - I kept my first bike (Yamaha) when I moved onto a Ducati a few years down the road, so now I only use the Yamaha for racing. My ducati is a naked as well, so it's shit around a track and my Yamaha is a sportbike.
Honestly though if the bike is your only mode of transport I wouldn't track it. I push the shit out of my track bike because I know I don't commute on it so if I fall and the fairings get fucked I don't care, I'll just wheel it into my garage and work on it for a week and it'll be good and I can still get to university. But as long as you have a secondary mode of transport just go ahead and take it to the track.
And re: mods that's not really true. For the racetracks I go to in England, you just need to remove your wing mirrors and you're good to go. Buy racing tyres as well though, the best you can afford.
The entry bar to motorcycle racing isn't as crazy as car racing, you don't need to replace your brake pads / tyres every fuckin lap or some shit like you would with an M3, and you don't need to fit a roll cage or some shit / keep replacing your brake fluid every hour like an autist.

How to into hobbies?
I work long days but I only work 4 days per week. I was thinking of trying to go to some yoga class on the weekend. You should just say " Im jumping on that table and caving that goblins head in".
DM decides if that's worthy of an athletics or an acrobatics roll or not anything at all cause the table is small and you're level 6 rogue in light armor.
And as a DM you just make the ruling, and if you're fair and consistent no player is ever going to debate you on your calls.

I make music, mostly drone and shoegazey stuff. Play guitars, keys, and am getting into electronics more. It sounds corny and all but music really is how I feel I can express myself, even if it's just something I'll never even release.
