Some boards are seriously amazing spots for learning new things. I frequent /lit/ , learned so much from those guys, also great for literary recommendations. Some other great spots are /ck/ and /tg/.

It's especially great if you are not a native speaker, this place gives you the opportunity to be exposed to a lot of ongoing conversations and personal opinions.

I only come back to this board, and spefically to post in the /fat/ thread. I Wasted too much time browsing cancerous boards like /v/ and /r9k/, thank god I stopped and started browsing /fit/ instead. I've been on and off this site since 2008. I like /fit/ because it's a board for people who are trying to improve themselves. yeah, there's a lot of memes, porn, bullshit, etc.

but there's also lots of talk about health, goals, style, and sometimes we even talk about studying and mental gains.

I'm nothing close to a kissless virgin. I'm even somewhat financially successful. I just love connecting with people who want to go somewhere in life.

It's a good question. I come here about every 3 days for 20 mins or so. I just really enjoy some of the images and some of the text.

I used to be a pretty full on anon. I'm 26 now and was on 4chan a lot between ages 18-24. I learned some really useful things, like how to steal books, films, music, where to stream stuff, I also discovered Starting Strength and barbell training from /fit/.

I stopped being a regular anon after j00t sold out but I do like aspects of the culture, particularly anonymity.

I don't browse here in the day but it's good to come back occasionally.

People call out MOST try hard unfunny shit and shame bury it til it no longer sees the light of day.

Ehhh idk. 4chan really isn't that much different than Reddit when you get down too it, besides if course the anonymous. I remember the last Reddit post I made a few weeks ago 2 out of the 3 replies I got where just "LOL your opinion is invalid because if this other past you made months ago that has nothing to do with this topic". Also 4chan in general is much more self aware and honestly much funnier. Reddit takes itself to serious, while on 4chan there is a sense that nothing you post really matters its just all in good fun.

Also it's much simpler and easier to read than other big social media sites/forums.
