You have pityriasis versicolor; it is a fungal infection of the skin. It causes your melanocytes to stop secreting melanin. This causes all the light spots on your skin.
You need a nizoral skin creme/lotion for 1 time a week; a couple of weeks. This will remove the fungal infection, but it will still take some time before your melanocytes are recovered. (not broscience...)
