Here we ask other fat anons for advice and give moral support to each other. All of us on this thread are supposed to know losing weight when you're fat is simple thermodynamics; if you put in less than you burn, you will lose weight. It's literally a piece of cake (or two or three.) At the end of the day, this is a support general whose goal is to help and motivate the chubby channers who need to lose weight for any number of reasons. Another thing to keep in mind are that if you're an autistic spaghetti spiller when you're a fatty you'll still be one when you're in shape. This is only to improve your health and anything else is another issue.

Nothing major. A toast and an egg or oatmeal with fruits in the morning. Some fruit snacks here and there. I run/walk/jog a 400m track for 1h-1h30min. For dinner I usually mix a bunch of non starchy vegetables and some chicken with dressing.

Free advice:
1. Read the fucking sticky.
2. Make sure you ask people ANYWHERE if you don't understand stuff in the sticky.
3. After you READ THE FUCKING STICKY, and CALCULATED YOUR TDEE start logging your food intake - use phone app or write it down. MyPlate is a good enough app and http://www.myfitnesspal.com/recipe/calculator will help you to calculate meals you cook and eat.
4. Eat at a deficit. Like THE FUCKING STICKY suggests, try eating below your TDEE around 15-20%.
5. After logging your food for at least a week, look at your macros and see what you are overeating and what you are lacking. If possible - change your diet to adjust the macros. If not - try eating less of the macro you have too much and take supplements to raise levels of a macro you have not enough.
6. Go sign up to a local gym. Ask a trainer to make a program for you. Or start with the one IN THE FUCKING STICKY.
And remember - NOBODY, and I mean NOBODY, gives a fuck about how you look and what you do in the gym unless you are being retarded (throwing weights around, doing some weird shit that your mom suggested and it worked for her, so it must work for you)

10 miles cycling is what... maybe 250 calories a day.

Please be realistic.

At 220lb I could pack 200-300 miles into a week and it's still quite possible to out eat the benefit if you're not counting calories.

But yes... You will be getting fitter... You want to be getting that mileage up as soon as possible without burning yourself out. But the weight loss wont come until you restrict calories.

One time I ate an entire massive stem of broccoli with red cabbage and leek, and it was only about 400 calories, but a massive pile of food an elephant would eat. Learn your calories and maximize how much you eat to get the most out of it, as well as eating all you can of protein, natural fats and other nutritious food. Make yourself full by eating tons of good food that is ultra low in calorie and full of natural, good nutrients.

Recently just got back into things after a back injure took me out for 3 weeks.

This is something I should probably look into. But there's also that psychological thing inside me that believes going down to dumbbells makes me weaker.

I highly recommend getting your own equipment, yes it is expensive but it saves you in the long run. For what it cost for 3-4 years of gym membership you can afford to buy your own equipment.

I have a treadmill, power-rack, 2 benches, oly bar, couple of dumbbells, couple of other lighter bars and a variety of weights. Cost me a bit but worth it for sure.

I managed the chin up progress in just a week as well after watching a video about US marine boot camp and how that any time they pass a pull up bar they have to do sets to failure so I applied that to myself. Any time I went to get a drink, something to eat, or even for a piss I'd stop and do chin ups till failure, went from not being able to do a single one to being able to do 3 each time I tried.

Dumb bells have been good for me, they're very manageable due to their small size and you don't need any other equipment, maybe a bench. Lifting is very easy with those, obviously it's more of a beginner's piece of kit but it works.

Now that I'm cutting and cut down on the lifting by a bit, my TDEE is around 2700 and I'm cutting at ~2300 while steadily losing bodyfat. I have been hitting the gym pretty late (10PMish) after my final meal for the day. Lift for about 45 minutes, with 10-15 minutes of cardio after. Then I do not eat after the gym.

My thought process is that my workout burns off many of the things I ate that day so I am burning fat while I sleep. Is this correct?

Good shit Anon. Low carb is the way to go I think, in the past I'd have a small amount of pasta/bread/potato in my meals, but it always left me more hungry. When it's just protein/veggies with very little carbs I feel full. No hunger problems, so long as I hit my 1200 calories.

It's really calories in calories out, it doesn't matter much when you workout and when you eat. Your method results in burning more fat at night, but not really more overall than if you ate after gym (considering all 24 hours). It's good to eat something after gym (not immediately, in about 2-3 hours), there's some minor benefit to it for muscle building, at least according to Israetel's lectures.

I've become anemic after starting my cut and I'm currently doing everything that the doctor said with taking my iron supplement every day with vitamin C and eating a lot of meat to get the blood cells back.
