I've been lifting for about 1.5 months.

I've gone from 136lbs skinnyfat at 6'1 to 154lbs over the course of ~6 weeks. Strength is up all over the board. I'm taking mutant mass gainer.

Is this decent progress? If I had before pic my arms would be noodles and my torso would look like a fridge and no definition anywhere

I'm fairly content with it. The only reason I'm taking it is because my friend sold it to me for $20. The original price is $75+ a bag.

However, if you have easy access to normal nutrition and can cook yourself 3 meals a day and maintain a caloric surplus I wouldn't touch it. It's meant for hardgainers and those who don't mind putting on putting on a few extra pounds of fat. That being said, at skele mode which you are right now you'll quickly gain weight but you'll go into skinnyfat mode before you see any real gains. But if you have no problem burning the fat off it's worth trying.

It's also called mutant mass gainer for a reason. These shits and toxic gases are unhuman.

Through 4 years of college. Been a year since the last photo, just recently was able to start actually building again and not just do maintenance mode (schedule/living situation bullshit, but finally changing).

From Skeltal, to overbulk, to lean.

5'6. About 115 in the first photo, ~180 in the second, and about 135 in the last.

Currently clean bulking, up to 142 and my lifts are going up very nicely.

Definitely my worst problem area as far as growth goes. Finally getting some results there too though, found some new workouts for chest and started doing my bench presses differently, starting to get some mass there.

Maybe it's your fat distribution. You wouldn't have to cut for a long time if you decided to. I'd say you're about 13-14%.

You would get a bit smaller on a cut, but once you're done, the glycogen will start filling you up again and give you some pleasing results.

A pretty standard diet. I cut out junk food, soft drinks, processed sugars, and other crap from my diet. I don't really care too much about macros but i make sure i get at least 150-200 grams of protein each day and around 2700-3000 calories.
