Fallout 4 modding somehow attracted too many morans. If you searched how to make a new map with Skyrim you could find out easily how to generate and replace the actual terrain, whereas with Fallout 4 you get pages of "I make muh pipboy look purdy". In many ways tho Fallout 4 is far more moddable than Skyrim. I'm trying to get into the whole papyrus shit again, but finding very little help on what's majorly changed in the language. Mostly it's idiots claiming you can do anything when it's a really limited language built on a pretty damn limited engine.

I play the base game every so often but never felt the need to finish it. Too many quests where the outcomes were too contrived and didn't really do anything, and then finding out the ending ending really put me off.

Some of the radiant quest stuff was alright, but generally too rare. Red Dead Redemption set a high bar for that sort of thing tho.
