So I am 18, and a few months ago I started getting little episodes after exercise/during exercise where my heart would get an irregular heart beat and my heart rate would rise, and this would last for a few minutes sometimes. After it happened for the second time, I went to multiple doctors, and a top cardiologist, got multiple ekgs done, an ECG, and wore a heart monitor for 24 hours. I also talked to more doctors afterwards, and none showed any concern. They checked for all the shit, inducing sudden cardiac death stuff, basically they checked for everything. They found nothing. I have had the sustained palpitations happen ~5 times now. It can happen, I lie down and let it finish, and I'm able to finish my workout with relative ease, without it happening again. The thing is, since the last time it happened, about a week ago, I started getting little singular heart palpitations throughout the day. My heart will just flutter for a split second. I can go hours without this happening, or it can happen multiple times in an hour, it depends. I have talked to multiple family doctors/nurse practitioners and they told me not to worry about it. My mom used to get heart flutters too, but she was a smoker and sedentary, whereas I am very active and don't smoke/drink. I have had significant anxiety problems in the past and get panic attacks, but the only anxiety I feel right now is anxiety about the heart flutters themselves. Pls help, need advice /fit/. Also please don't tell me to go to another cardiologist, I actually cannot afford it, I live in freedomland so I get financially raped Everytime I go to the doctor.

Stop eating so much salt
I'll bet you eat a fuck ton of salt huh?
Stop being anxious. It ain't doing anything for your heart.
Do meditation and try to be more conscious of your heart and its activity.
Does it change its pattern after eating certain foods or exercise for example?
I should add that it doesn't seem to happen when I am extremely calm. I am really stressed right now because of a lot of stuff. When I am in deep meditation it doesn't happen, when I am sleeping it doesn't happen, and when I am on long runs it doesn't happen. The sustained palpitations have been triggered by hill sprints, but never long runs. This, along with the doctors all saying I'm fine, and my history of (clinical)anxiety, makes me think that it may just be anxiety.

School lunch yesterday was two hotdogs covered in chili and fries. Isn't Texas healthy? But yes, I eat a lot of salt.

>stop being anxious
10/10 advice, it's almost as if people can just turn their anxiety off...

There's your problem dumbshit.
When I quit eating so much salt my daily occasional palpitations stopped and it even helped with my anxiety

Alright, I think you may be right. Fast food is just so easy to bulk with.

Yeah, this is the only advice I can give.
Consume more magnesium/potassium, cut down on the sodium, and if you're still feeling anxiety talk to your doctor about it and maybe they'll prescribe you xanax/alprazolam or something.

Thanks. I have been taking a mass gianer with a lot of magnesium and eating a ton of sunflower seeds over the past few days. I also have easy access to benzos, but I hate them. Would weed help calm me down if I just smoke a little? I have had panic attacks from weed in the past but I know sometimes people get it prescribed for anxiety, so maybe it was just that I smoked too much.
