Who is /fat/ for? Fat members of /fit/ who want to:

Here we ask other fat anons for advice and give moral support to one another if you're too weak to survive alone. All of us on this thread know losing weight when you're fat is simple if you just reduce calorie intake, quite literally a piece of cake. At the end of the day, this is a support general whose goal is to help and motivate the chubby channers who need to lose weight for any number of reasons. Please take note that there are chronic morons who post in this general giving horrible advice to troll or to reassure their own fucked up autistic views. Just remember the golden rule of weight loss: if your calorie intake is less than what you burn, you WILL lose weight.
Keep in mind that if you're a loser when you're a fatty you'll still be a loser when you're in shape. This is only to improve your health and anything else is another issue.

I just did adderal for a week straight and ate a total of three meals, drank a shit ton of water. Went from 260 to 250.

Posted last thread on how i was shit at stopping at my 1800 cal/day limit and that i was carrying over.

Actually wen tto the gym today and did a few reps of bench and curls. Supposedly burned 200 cals on treadmill so thats a good thing.

you can drop weight just by cutting (as in eat 500 less calories than what you should have for a day)
You dont even need to work out/lift to drop weight.

Calculate your TDEE and eat 500 less than that and you will drop weight, drink water to not get hungry.

An easier way lazy fatasses who dont wanna work out do is eating a Keto diet, that is literally 70%fat 20% protein and 10% carbs. You will feel full very fast because of the high amount of fat.

Water is fucking disgusting for most brands. Almond milk makes it MUCH more tolerable.
Lowfat milk if you want to be a big fat baby, but it has more calories. Almond milk(unsweetened) has 30 calories per cup.

I did get French Vanilla ON Gold Standard and I don't mind it. I think it really compliments oats and cereal, as it makes the almond milk taste like milk. You know, sweeter, with an actual taste.

But yeah brands and flavors differ wildly, except I've found almost ALL taste bad with water. I've only had one brand not taste like shit in water.

Eh, it's not a rush but I've been pretty consistent since I started. I worked out the math on the assumption that 3500 cals = 1 pound and I always exercise enough to maintain a 14,000 calorie a week deficit, which so far has relatively accurately equated to 4 pounds a week.

I know BMR slows down as you lose weight and I've already had to compensate for that by increasing my work out times, but provided I keep scaling that up relative to the slow down I should be alright.

yeah pretty much all water. Also you can honestly take it a lot easier than that for awhile.

I think it's best starting with a small deficit and working towards a larger one as you get used to it. Minimizes hunger, temptation, and the likeliness to lapse. You are going to be doing this for the next year at the very least, there is no rush.

That's just my personally experience though.

Whats your diet looking like atm? I'm doing around 1500 calories a day, 60g fat, 135g carbs, 100g protein (feel better when I have more dietary fats, lower protein cause I've got kidney disease).
Combined with cardio its losing me like 1.5lbs per week while I'm continuing to build some strength.

I'm interested in starting lifting but am still 30-40 pounds over what i'd like to be. My main concern is that if i start a program like stronglifts that i wouldnt be able to keep up with the lifts while still being on a deficit. I'm pretty sure it doesn't really work this way, but I'm afraid of "squandering" my noobie gains by not having lifting be my main focus. How did you guys pick your goal weight?

I think I have good genetics which have been squandered with shit food and no exercise. I'm 6'0'' 246lbs with big lean legs, large traps, shoulders, and lats but also titties, big gut, and some neck fat. There's a natural arm gap with around 6'' difference between chest and waist. Similar to pic related but fatter.

Other people my height seem to want to be below 200lbs but I was thinking maybe more like 215?

So i installed the myfitnesspal app on my phone, started counting my calories and I switch jobs at work to something a bit more physical, stocking shelves and unloading the truck at a retail store. Went from 236 to 230.5. Is this normal? Someone before mention water retention. Not sure. I do drink plenty of water. 2100 calorie diet.

You don't need exercise, you need two meals around 10am-5pm and red grapefruits / juice.

Took me from 82kg to 76kg, would still be going down if I wasn't a fucking asshole when it comes to eating wheat-rich products and just eating too much than what I need.

But question is, does /fat/ appreciate red grapefruit? It's got triglyceride-lowering properties, prohibits your body from absorbing glucose = less carbohydrates.

Keep going, fatanons. We can do this. Even if you fall off for a week, or two, or more, just pick yourself up right now and start fresh. We're gonna make it.

You should probably feel worse about being 23 with no job that you do about being ""fat""

Get a job so you can at least buy your own shit. This will also get you moving around more and help you lose even more weight so you're not sitting around browsing 4chan all day.

Oh and none of this will matter if you really do have no willpower and keep living with your parents. Don't expect them to follow you on your diet.

5'11 with a body shape not too different to that guy on the left. I was probably a bit bigger when I started at 240. Currently at 215 and am still fat. My goal is currently 170 and from there I might start lifting and trying to get built. But for now I just wanna focus on getting thin and not being a total fatty. Let me tell you 215 won't cut it unless a lot of that weight is muscle.
