Best thing you can do is improve your personality or find people that enjoy your company and gain their respect.

Or you could try dressing yourself nicely. Turns out grooming and clothing will carry you pretty far. Also, don't mistake attention for respect. Female attention is fickle at best, so it's better that you focus on some other aspect of your life-- like getting a career that pays well that doesn't drive you to suicide, or picking up an interesting hobby that people are curious about.
