I broke down and ate 2 eggs cooked with butter since I was paranoid I was missing something important. I've been eating a vegan diet all week. I feel pretty guilty about eating the eggs and butter. Well, for the rest of this week, same as every other day:

Breakfast: Nigger I fast, ain't nobody got time fo dat
"Lunch": Usually around 2pm, I have a 2 scoop protein shake
Dinner: 8oz of chicken or ground turkey, plus 2 servings of green veggies
After dinner: another scoop on non lifting days, 2 scoops on lifting days
After lifting: another scoop

This is how I stay around 1k calories but still get plenty of protons. Been working good recently. Next week I'm going to do a protein shake "fast" where I basically just drink 5-6 scoops a day and have some raw broccoli or green beans. Starting Monday, so I'll let you guys know how it works out.

Yeah that's pretty much been my diet. I drink a fruit smoothie while eating 4 ounces of raw sauerkraut. I eat a higher ratio of beans to rice since beans have a lot more fiber and protein for the same calories. Also take a vitamin d3 supplement and fish oil for omega 3s. I don't feel like fucking with tofu etc yet. I'd rather just eat my bowl of beans and rice mixed together with lots of hot sauce. After I'm in shape I will worry about cooking again. Right now it might be best to just treat my diet as all business. Maybe one day a week I will eat dairy and/or eggs. We get cartons of brown eggs for free.

One day I almost got hit by an 18-wheeler. I was in such nervous shock that I began eating a bunch of fries (that I was going to give to my bro) to calm my trembling hands down since I had to drive. A cigarette might have served a similar purpose if I had one.
However, true gut anxiety can keep from eating for days at a time.

I was as high as 257, was around 247/248 for several months (wasn't really dieting then), went down to 238 after fasting (fucked up due to like 4 grad/bday/mother'sday parties over the weekend) but I've stabilized at 245 as of now :( Now intermittent fasting and being a hermit for at LEAST 2 months. 6 days of workouts per week. Try walking and body weight exercises at home. Running is kool if you arent that overweight and can handle people watching you as you run, but i find thats rare for people posting here. If you are walking (bonus points with a pupper) no one will give a fuck about you and you can get some decent exercise from that. Combine that with body weight exercises and you have a good start.

That said, you probably can afford the gym. Planet fitness is 10 bucks a month and even hobos can afford that shit. Not the greatest lifting tools there, but good enough for a beginner and some good cardio options. Also everyone there is sad and pathetic so you won't feel like a whale in a sea of chads there.

As for food, veggies and lean meats are easy and cheap for the most part. I assure you that losing weight is easier than you think. Just count your calories accurately and move a little bit. Past that its just a matter of sticking to it and time. Godspeed anon

No need to do meme diets. The goal is something you can handle everyday. It doesn't matter if you lose 30 pounds drinking smoothies if you can only do it for a few months and immediately gain it all back and more.

Just eat less, weigh it, count it. Experiment with healthier options and compare how you feel. Roasted veggies with oven baked chicken will let you have an incredible amount of pgood food for limited calories. Once you see that you can eat all that, or a slice of pizza it becomes easier to make the right choice more often. You will feel so much better I can't even describe it in words once you are eating a bit healthier. Ever since i chilled on sugar and switched to more veggies/leaner meats I wake up feeling so refreshed and happy every day. I still fuck with some fatty stuff on occasion, but you immediately feel so much worse once your off it for a bit.

I'm in the same boat as you, brother. As far as gyms go, try Planet Fitness. it's $10 a month. If you can afford gas, you can afford that.

Real food is cheap, you just gotta know how to find it. I usually just buy broccoli florets and chicken strips, 2 bags each. I make that last for a week, and repeat. Pair those with brown rice every couple of weeks, and you're good. Just gotta look into your options and be frugal.

Water weight is dumb and changes alot during the day. I've had weigh ins were I lost 5 pounds in 2 hours from taking a shit. Make sure your scale is accurate as well. It doesn't really matter. The longer you fast, the more you get the "effects" of fasting. As soon as calories are ingested, insulin goes up and you're not fasting anymore. I used to play rugby league for a while (as a prop lol) but I teared my meniscus on the first match of the season this year. It sucks major balls as I managed to get myself conscripted as an artilleryman, which I really really really want to be able to go through. I'm Norwegian, so it's only a year of conscription but I really really really want to go through with it. Tomorrow I think I'll go marching through the woods with my backpack, I'll fill waterbottles and use them as weights and slowly build myself up. What's a good weight to start on? I was thinking five or seven kilos.

What's the worst time of day to go to the gym?

I want to see how bad it can actually get to adjust my perspective.

Right now I'm only comfortable going to my local 24hr in the dead of night when they're cleaning the pool area with hard chemicals.
