Aren't models supposed to be very slim because it gets rid of their curves and makes their bodies more alike so designers have an easier time making/trying on/producing clothes?

It's probably very difficult since the more someone weights, the more fat is going to be distributed unproportionally. I don't know, it seems kinda like a good strategy to me, cutting down on costs and time being wasted.

Both are bad, but at least doctors were actually prescribing cigarettes and people were listening to their (poorly mistaken) advice. Nowadays, doctors are constantly ignored and whenever you interject you are told "that's between me and my doctor" when you know for a fact that their doctor is wanting them to lose weight but can't say anything due to confidentiality policies. Maybe with so much emphasis on getting rid of healthy living and encouragement of stuffing your face, ignorance will be acceptable for the grounds of winning in court.

I don't know if this will be possible though due to their shorter lifespan and the odds pushing their ability to drop like 50 ton flies.

She has basically zero lean body mass from a lifetime spent purging, doing nothing but cardio, and only eating carbs because "meat is fatty and makes you fat." Former bulimic, It's a bitch habit to kick and I still occasionally purge if I'm drunk and eat a lot. Honestly breaking the initial binge-purge cycle is the hardest. You will have at least one day where you eat too much and feel the urge to throw up. Fight it. I used to drive around for an hour after eating to keep myself from being able to purge.
For me, finding something to motivate me was crucial. It was lifting, actually. Really hard to increase lifts if you're in a fog from lifting and have a fucked up diet. For a long time I logged my food and just pushed my boundaries little by little, first 1000, 1200, eventually 1500, etc. Seeing my lifts progress was a huge motivator. That's pretty much what happened to me in college. I'm now in the overweight BMI category, and I'm about 20 lbs heavier than I was in HS. Used to date a chubby girl a few years back. At the start we were both pretty lean, nothing special but not fat. A year and a half into the relationship we were both getting chubby thanks to weekly pizza movie nights and eating out, girlfriend boyfriend shit. Meanwhile she started blabbing about that she was getting insecure about her body, and I was getting pretty unhappy about my body myself, so I proposed that we both start excersising. She quit after like 3 weeks because she couldn't resist junkfood and went back to complaining about she was fat.
I was all fine with her making her own choices, but while I was going strong on eating healthy, she started blaming me for counting calories, saying i was 'getting obsessed over it all' and that 'I shouldn't starve myself'. Ignoring her shit, I continued getting in shape, after which she asked me to stop exercising because she was even more insecure about herself now that I was starting to get in shape.

That's how I found out she was a lazy, selfish piece of shit that has no motivation, goals or willpower. Glad I dumped her.

People legitimatley don't realize how miserable they're making themselves by eating double what they should be eating everyday.
