Honestly, I think peak mass was achieved in the early 2000's.

There still has not been a Mr.Olympia more muscular than Ronnie Coleman.

In fact many of the biggest of all time were early 2000's.

These days if you see somebody bigger than 2000's guys it will only be because they are taller. In terms of muscularity from the use of hormones, steroids, GH, Slin etc... the limit has already been roughly found.

Unless a NEW type of technology is discovered it's unlikely we will see more muscular freaks than they were.

On top of that there isn't a demand for it. The arms race for "more" size in the IFBB is over.

Furthermore the "sport" is a tiny pond and the total amount that can be made from marketing it's success is also shrinking. Men's physique and Classic are taking over. Nobody want's to look like a modern mass monser any more.

While Calum is a beast, he isn't as muscular as the early 2000's guys.
