just started stronglifts 5x5, but the problem is I can't do a squat, not even a bodyweight squat. my quads are extremely tight from months of sitting around, and sometimes it even fucks up my gait. been folding my legs while sitting and doing squats as deep as I can and stretching them morning and night and beginning to see some progress, but sick of having to skip legs in the gym. anyone have any advice?

Stretch, try RDLs too.
Foam roll, even think about getting a massage.
Theres not much you can do that won't take time if you're inflexible. Be patient.

ya the one where you just dont bend your legs but only slightly, and come down as much as ur lower back allows before it starts rounding.
striaght legged dl is different as it is taken all the way down, RDL sint.

I had the same problem, solved it by doing stretches all day and squatting starting from 0kg going up 2.5kg each time
