Has this worked for you? How well does it work?

SS+accessories is a solid workout plan

what accesories?

Buy the book and read it. Or convince a local library to get it. It's seriously worth it, solid info. None of the meme BS you get on /fit/.

These were my numbers after 1 month as a skellington doing SS by the book as best I could:
>OHP before: the bar
>OHP after: 105lbs
>Bench before: 65lbs
>Bench after: 125lbs
>Squat before: 65lbs
>Squat after: 165lbs
>Deadlift before: 105lbs
>Deadlift after: 225lbs
SS was garbage for me. Strict diet and consistantly following the plan made me go from 90 lb bench to like 145 in 6 months. After I switched from a plan with real substance I went from 145 to 225 in another 6 months. No idea what I bench now it's been years.

I find SL to be better, the app is sweeeeet
I got my squat from a very shakey 200 lbs to 325 with SS+almost GOMAD in a bit under 2 semesters. Could have done more but I injured myself around january.

if you wanna look like him then go for it

Reading SS is still a necessity though
Don't learn the lifts from Mehdi, he is a shitty lifter

post the epub then

I tried to follow Rip's squat method and snapped my L5

Gonna assume your serious anon, did you get it fixed? How?
I fucked up my back like 3 years ago trying out dead lifts, I miss not hurting all the time.

Shit man, mine was just a muscle strain
It hurt like a kick in the nuts for 2 weeks and it healed. Most injuries heal in 6 weeks at most unless it's some serious shit (like an actual fracture that wouldn't even let you walk).
Have you been in therapy? Considered surgery?

The app is literally the only good thing about the program. 5x5 is too much volume for linear progression and rows are the pussy version of power cleans.
>t. used to do SL but switched to SS
>>41449232
>power cleans
SL eventually goes into 5x3 and 5x1

Negative on the last 2. Well, I could also be wrong about the source. I'm barrel chested as fuck, and while it's cool and all that my OHP is pretty good for a noob (was at like 185 after ~6 months lifting), I think it had a really negative effect on my spine and posture growing up. I most certainly have kyphosis.
I certainly snapped something on that deadlift though. They were always uncomfortable, but I think I was lifting too much (280). Felt the snap, crippled me for a few days, but got over it. But that was, like I said, a few years ago. Idk if that's the big problem, but I can't bend forward anymore without my back flaring up on me. Really sharp sort of pain, feels like it goes away if I stretch.
Want to go get it looked at, but I'm a poorfag and I wouldn't even know where to start.
