Simple. To stay motivated, you need to think of your goal clearly, my goal for example, is to get down to 15% Bf, i'm currently 27% bf, lost down from being 35%, and still going.

If you know your goal clearly, and you have the means of getting to it, I find then finding the progress i've made and thinking about what it'd be like to go back to who I was really impacts my motivation.

I hated being a fat, disgusting suicidal piece of shit with no friends; so I don't want to go back to being that person, so no matter how down i get, i'll fucking do whatever it takes to not be that person again. You do the same.

As for your bottom questions, who knows? See a doctor, get a health check up for depression, with a blood test, eliminate biological factors like lack of serotonin, dopamine, whatever. After that, ask yourself who you want to be.

Do you wanna be the guy who just doesn't care? Who probably ends up getting nowhere in life? Of course you fucking don't, or you wouldn't have started in the first place. So pick yourself up, look for support, and get your ass moving again.

Why did you start in the very beginning ?
If you achieved something you will achieve more
Don't give up yet
Zyzz never gave up
So neither should you

I think staying motivated is a very poor ay of thinking about fitness. Motivation is something we apply to goals, and goals are things that we accomplish and then forget about. Fitness is a chore. It's like showering or seeing the dentist. Rather than motivating yourself to go above and beyond with fitness, remember that this is what your body was intended to do. This was supposed to be part of your daily routine and for some portion of your life you neglected that need.

Get your hormone levels checked. In the meantime, take some zinc, vitamin D supplements or better yet, some sun, do squats and deadlifts, get out of bed at a specific time only jerk of to porn models that you would consider your type (no hardcore) and do jelqing exercises to make your Johnson bigger.

no one can make you motivated
it has to come from inside
if you dont have what it takes then I guess you better get used to being a loser because nothing will change that unless you do it yourself

that thought alone should serve as motivation

You got the cancer.

The beginning is always the hardest, that's why so less people lift, it's like the STEM subject of the sports.
I see lifting as a part of my day like teeth brushing, it's a natural part of my day, I don't even think "Do I want to train today?" because it's a routine for me like taking a shit in the morning. But I needed 2 years to have that mindset (4th year right now).

Motivation only works in the moment. Discipline and a strong habit is what you need. Force yourself to workout at times you don't want to and eventually you'll just workout without having to question it. It will become something you just "do".

>how do you stay motivated?
i replaced motivation with discipline

this tbqh

I dont go because I feel like it. I go because I'm supposed to go today

I'm gonna assume that the barbell bending isn't the real reason you feel down.

I went through some rough shit the last week and dropped the ball on working out. (small home set up since I don't have my license at 22 yo lmao. Australian learn permit is had to get 120 hours when you live by yourself and barely see your parents for 6 years)

Regardless, just because something happens that makes you feel like you can't do something, doesn't mean you can't do that something. If your barbell is bent, try fixing it and strengthening the bar where it's damaged. There is more you can do to fix a problem than the problem can cause itself.

You don't stay motivated. Motivqtion is fickle, it comes and goes. You need to build a habit, faglord

I like looking up classmates from highschool and seeing them gain weight. Helps push me harder
>>
>>41445729
Pretty much this.

I don't like getting up early on Monday to lift every week, but I'll be damned if I start out my week by giving up.
>>
I'm in a similar situation
I started lifting 2 months ago, absolutely 0 sports or lifting background, starting from full skeleton mode. I get tendon pain from squats and deads, and shoulder pain from bench. I skipped 2 workouts because of this. I will have to figure out mobility shit and do that for fucking ever before i can lift again. Fuck this world. What's the point of lifting if it only fucks me up?
