I row with a guy with one leg, he still pulls pretty respectable splits. Quite often he leaves his 'flexible foot' leg in the ergo footstrap while he hops off to take a piss or refill his water bottle.

Is 16 a good age to start rowing?

My little brother is thinking about it and I really want him to give it a try.
He's 6'4 205lbs at 16 years old and I seriously think he has potential. Also has huge legs.
