how essential is sleeping for lifts?
Ive been struggling with sleeping and ive been getting about 5 hours every night now. Sometimes ill nap at 4pm but very rarely.
how fucked are my gains?
100% essential. Sleeping is when your body builds and repairs muscle. If you're not sleeping enough you're just tearing yourself apart and not recovering. Also read the fucking sticky faggot

The stimulus (weight training) > The materials for recovery (nutrition) > sleep (the means for turning nutrition into stimulus adaptation along with other chemical processes)
all three are important but sleep is the least important of the three whilst still being important
sleep 10 hours a day is a terrible meme, physical recovery occurs during waking hours as well at night, mental and nervous recovery is the type which predominantly occurs during sleep
