How to prevent bar slide, my last squat and bench sessions have been hampered by the barbell sliding down my back from sweat on squats and from my hands gradually sliding outward until I lose my comfort zone on bench grip width, any tips on preventing this without having to use chalk on my back/hands/bar for these lifts it seems excessive given how weak I am (pic related)

Only if you get really really good at them. But since you're not a professional weightlifter, the answer is almost certainly "no".

Even a 100kg power clean (no easy feat for non-weightlifters) won't help your deadlift much, unless that is below 4plate or so in which case just about anything will improve your deadlift. Even top American weightlifters rarely have a power clean over 140kg.

I get tennis elbow after I bench sometimes

How do I fix this? I use wrist wraps so my hands don't bend back

from my experience what can strain the elbow is going to a too low angle or having the force wrong

to explain what I mean, for example there are these incline / overhead machines. at the bottom of the movement if you have the elbows behind your spine it can strain them. or tricep extensions when you angle them wrongly

so maybe going too low on the bench or having very shitty form and basically doing a tricep extension are my best guesses

if your form is fine lower the weight and give your elbow time to adjust. if you are not new to weightlifting and still have that issue you might have a chronical injury that may or may not be related to the bench at all

Are you sure its bench doing this and not low bar squats? I had the same problem and realized it was holding the bar that caused the pain. It was just the most painful while benching, changing to high bar for a couple weeks helped.

I've done it, got mediocre gains off it, wouldn't say "never do it" but I wouldn't recommend it either. If you're going to do it don't be worried about dropping sets after hitting one or two @10. This will mostly happen on the 10x3 day, it's fucking hard.

I got my squat up to 600 lbs with Texas Method. And my lolbench press up to LMAO3PLAYT.

I didn't used to do any accessories if you didn't count speed deadlifts and chin ups. This cycle, I'm doing dips on Volume day, along with some speed deadlifts. It makes VD long and miserable, but it gives you all week to recover for Intensity Day.
