Yes and no.
Lifting will build muscle which raises your TDEE, and ultimately makes you look better.
Running will burn more calories vs time you're working out.
Lifting is better in the sense you wont look like a twink faggot, but running burns much more.

I lift to lose fat and to look good after i lose the fat. Of course i also run and count calories. I agree that bf% is king. Currently at 18%, aiming for 10%
