Yo /fit/ where mah cutting bros at? Looking for some new ideas for meals purely for cutting. post them recipes, meal plans, etc.

Just starting cutting about a week ago, new to the gym so I'm trying to get rid of a beer belly I got from shit choices of diet (soda and junk shit). 24 yr, 5'8 180lbs (18-22% bodyfat?) calorie intake is around 1300-1700, macro setup (80g protein/50g net carbs/70g fat).

Been free from soda and junk shit for about two weeks, keeping sugar intake low.

How much is legit? I heard it was around 0.6g to 1lb of body weight, so like 120-130g? so far I've been using protein powder after workouts (33g per 2 scoops). depends on what I eat that day but I can go for more scoops, but if i get a shit ton from chicken or other sources of course i'll cut down on dat powder.

Depending on how muscular you are, you'll want up to 200g+ of protein a day to minimize muscle loss. Here's a study done on it, more muscular individuals will require more protein during a cut to minimize the amount of muscle they lose:

currently using chronometer, but been trying to get my macro in a good spot that'll help in the end for cutting.

I'd say I don't have too much muscle, at least arm/upper body/abs but could be hiding under a bit of fat, i know belly area for sure. I can take a picture to give a better idea of my not /fit/ body with out tryin to turn this whole thread into something else.

Excuse the body hair but this is my starting point, want to get down to 10-12% bodyfat. Like I said just started to really take fitness and diet serious, been to the gym a few times in the past but not for long and without following any diet.
