But you can cook with extra virgin olive oil, it won't turn into transfats unless you put it at high heat for extended amounts of time for multiple cycles. It's just kind of a waste since the subtle fruitiness disappears and extra virgin is more expensive.

>>
>>41366204
I was thinking of the latter two factors instead of the former, honestly, but I guess that's to be taken into account as well. Extra virgin is best served as part of a vinaigrette from my experience, absolutely delicious (but it largely depends on the quality of the manufacturing, considering real extra virgin olive oil is non-existent on the viral market, they mix it with sunflower oil and refined derivatives).

No, extra virgin olive oil has a lower smoke point that olive oil. You are making the fat literally rancid and bad. If ever you see smoke at all then that means the oil is burning. Creating carcinogens.

Cook with lard, virgin organic coconut oil or organic avocado oil.

Cinnamon
Basil, just a little bit
Garlic granules
Cooked with olive oil

Was gonna add black beans, but I think it would have been a bit on the heavy side.

For the canned tuna I usually combine it with some whole grain pasta, pesto and sun dried tomatoes. Then, I squeeze fresh lemon on it so it has a sour taste too. I do this almost every time I make canned tuna and I love it.
