Did you validate your business idea before launching or did you just start a business you wanted and hoped everyone would go for it? I'd recommend applying to jobs full time and figure out your business on the side.

Thanks man - no I didn't do enough research - thought I had a niche market but the volume of work just isn't there. I have been applying for FT jobs for the last 2 months but not getting anywhere. Even tried to get my old job back which was degrading as fuck.
Do motivational tapes work? I tried a couple on YouTube but they just made me sad.

I mean, I don't find motivational tapes motivational. The thing is there comes a point where, like inspiration, you can't wait around for motivation. It makes it easier, but it's not necessary. Life is short and we are each the only person with the ability to change our own situation. When it comes down to it you just have to stop pondering over what's best, stop worrying about what you want, and just take some action to change the situation. Keep up the applications, it's not fun but it can save your ass.
