Are facial exercises a meme?
What would you say is the key to making face gains, if any at all?
Your facial features are determined by bone, which can't be exercised.

Only thing you can do is grow your mandible. Muay Thai fighters hit their shins against hard objects to strengthen and grow the bones in their legs, same principle applies to any bone. Hitting yourself in the jaw repeatedly would in theory improve your jaw line. Question is: How bad do you want it?

I read that chewing gum and tongue on roof helps but I don't know if it's all a placebo

#1 thing is losing body fat. this is where the most drastic change occurs.
second thing would be sodium intake for those that retain water in their face (so called moon face).
other then that you can't really do much since your shape is determined by your bone morphology. chewing hard and thick gum can help you give a more defined jaw muscles but that's pretty much it.

It's all bullshit. Stop falling for memes.
lower your bodyfat if it's too high
reasonably healthy skin (don't be deficient in vitamins etc)
fix your teeth if there's room for improvement
make sure your haircut is optimal for your head
those basically are the few key things I guess

Go low bodyfat. That's all you can do to improve your face. Hopefully there's a jaw under that fat.
Why does everyone always assume that the poster is fat?

This. Lowering your body fat is pretty much the only way to achieve 'facegains'. And it is a real thing, I lost 10kg in month and a number of people are saying that I suddenly look more attractive.

Wolff's law my nigga

Lowering your bodyfat can go beyond being fat. Going from normal bf% to sub 10s will make a difference in your face.
>>41347269
What most normies consider "thin" isn't the same as low bodyfat.

having correct oral posture is NOT bullshit. if you breathe from your mouth growing up you will end up having a recessed jaw and a host of other problems like severe overbite
this is most important growing up when your bones are changing. I don't know about post-puberty when growth plates and bones have all already fused
