Read a lot of forum posts insisting that it helped stretch muscle fascia and so could assist in permanent gains.
However the only medical report I read was of a bodybuilder who'd been using it for 8 years and found that it only resulted in about a hundred tiny oil cysts that never got absorbed and there was structural damage to the muscle fibers.
