I really don't understand why it's a "beginners" routine when everyone is fucking scared of squats and deadlifts at first, hell even at my gym barely anyone deadlifts except for me and like 2 other guys.
From my understanding starting with a full body routine for a week or 2 and then changing it to PPL is a much better and flexible routine.
Not to mention that you can't start doing sets of 5 when you can't even do proper form.
can you guys please recommend a good PPL routine for a lil skinnyfat skelly like me

Stronglifts is SS with barbell rows instead of power cleans which is how most people do SS anyway. Also with shittier form and technique instruction. Everyone should read Starting Strengh even if they don't intend to folllow the program
