Is the OHP the best exercise for shoulder hypertrophy? Strictly talking about it as an exercise for aethstetics
I too would like to know. just started my first bulk. I have shit shoulders. and stupid high bicep and calf insertions starting bulk because I'm getting loose skin in my arms and the stretch marks on them. like a diabetic 60 year old desk clerks arms.

You don't need to bulk anon. You are already have enough fat, any more and you will be fat-fat.
For Lateral and Posterior Delts, High Rep with Low Weight, and strict form.
Lateral/front raises are far more superior. As for pressing, seated DB press is better than OHP for mass.

yea, you're right. just gonna deal with loose skin and keep the cut going. been doing 1950 calories a day with 160g protein. it sucks ass, but the muscle building has kept my weight loss steady

Honestly just did 3 sets of OHP and lateral raises and my shoulders blew up in a few months. OHP strength is everything I feel.

Honestly anything that adds colume to shoulders. Push pull split will do pretty good imo between all the pushes and rear delt work.
Once you can OHP a plate for 8, your shoulders aren't gonna be small, just build strength family
