Download it, steal it, buy it, read a summary or review, doesnt matter.

This book explains and fixes everything.

Check out the rational male site. All the answers you could ever need
>>
The only book you need to be successful is the art of war and how to win friends and influence people. That and the bible or whatever your respective "bible" is. Also read some Cormac McCarthy. He puts a nice "realistic" spin on topics such as war...post war as well as apocalyptic settings...very eye opening for your stereotypical "wishing for the end" invalid.
>>
>>41321074
The Road is an amazing book that I wish I could unread just so I could read it for the first time again.
>>
>>41321095
I just got mine in the mail ..DONT SPOIL IT! That being said...I was ashamed at how much I actually enjoyed Blood Meridian...It was a masterpiece in my opinion.
>>
>>41321107
I highly recommend the movie AFTER the book. The actors are superb and it just puts a good picture to the story. However, some parts are left out, which did disappoint me.

Overall it's an awesome story that really shows not only the horror of Post Apocalypse but the loneliness and hopelessness of it.

Haven't read that one, but some really good books that are along those lines are:
The Rational Male
The Book of Pook
How to Win Friends and Influence People
The Art of Seduction
Models: Attract Women Through Honesty
and The 48 Laws of Power

>Chad reads comic books
>Chad reads at all
Brah, I can't even read my posts as I make them sgfhosfkjasfoh.
>>
You should read some Stoicism texts (I recommend something modern that sums up Marcus Aurelius, Zeno of Cetrium and Seneca), then I'd add Revolt against the Modern World and then Ride the Tiger.

It'll make you tough as nails (or at least aspire to be, which is the first step), that will give you a tremendous confidence boost in everyday life.
>>
>>41321025
Chad does not read comic books

>>41321038
I always wondered why brave new world had women at all. Once you have surrogate machines what's the point?
>>
>>41320957
>Chad reads comic books

Chad is a SJW feminist?
>>
>>41321229

Book of Pook got me onto the path of self development, so it's a good starting point, but beyond that, there's better stuff out there. It's a lot of esoteric "be a man" truisms...ok, cool, I should "be a man" but specifically what to do?

Models on the other hand is solid. Also add Mode One by Alan Roger Currie to your list. I think if you've read Book of Pook we have some...mutual acquaintances. Anything by RSD Tyler circa 2009-2015 is solid. Since then he seems to have deemed himself a spiritual leader of some sort lol. RSD's Blueprint Decoded is still one of the greatest of all time

You know what I have always wondered.

Do women actually admire men who are well versed in the classics and have a bookshelf full of actually books and not comics or captain underpants books?
>>
>>41321352
They don't care about either one.
>>
>>41321352
Depends on the girl.
>>
>>41321352
not if he is a pretentious /lit/fag about it who insults them for reading twilight and other pop-fiction garbage.
>>
>>41321338
You totally misunderstood his criticism of modern consumerism. Evola was a socialist.
>>
>>41321376
Nah, depends on the guy. Chad can slay the geekiiest comic-book geekslut, and then with the force of his looks and personality, get her to stop reading comic books. Can do the same to smart nerd girls. Girls will end up getting engrossed in whatever guy they want to impress, and then like what he wants her to like, or what she thinks he wants her to like.
>>
>>41320957

I agree, fantastic book, knew me better than I did.
>>
>>41321258
Any recs on modern summations of stoicism? Reading Meditations right now, I like it a lot and I'm barely into it
>>
>>41321352

Respek yeah but Idk. Would you like a girl thats smarter than you?
>>
>>41321352
no, women make like they like to read to get likes on facebook and think they are smart

is a few of them that really admire that because they like to read too. Too rare to focus on that niggus
>>
>>41321352

Well you can become well rounded by reading a lot of good books, so yes, but its for whats in the books, not the books themselves.
>>
>>41321439
Trick question
>Nobody is smarter than me.
>>
>>41321352
Yes and no. In my experience, women evaluate a man in two steps or in two ways. First of, are you hot/handsome? Second, what other qualities do you have that add to the physical?

So if you're a 6 in looks, then yes being well read and being able to converse about it, etc. might bump you up to a 7. If you've actually WRITTEN something of note, to an 8 or even 9 depending on how good/famous the work is and with a Nobel prize you could be a 2 and still score.

Same with everything else. Will playing the guitar get you laid? No, but it'll get you from 6 to 7 if you play in a local band, to 8/9 if you're notable and good, and if you play lead guitar for Metallica you could be a 2 and still score. Same goes for wealth, education, sports, anything really. You have to be REALLY damn good to make up for being ugly, but if you're a Chad already even a little bit makes you Chaddier.
>>
>>41321253
then get the audiobook
>>
>>41321394
Lol only by the retarded, American notion of 'he's associated with something which has the word socialism in it, thus socialist'. He was a fascist, plain and simple. And an idealist.

I get the critique, but what Evola didn't get was that MARX WAS CRITICISING CAPITALISM. He wasn't ENDORSING a bleak, materialist, existance without anything spiritual or human in it: he was using a materialist approach to show how terrible capitalism was because he wanted his critique to be scientific and not based on fee-fees, and capitalism operated on materialist terms. That does not mean that he didn't share such feelings; in some of his writings a very romantic and almost spiritual vision of a society free from capitalist chains emerges. He just wanted the critique to be robust.
>>
If you need to read a book to find out how to be a man you should literally just kill yourself.

The only way to be a successful MGTOW is to become MGTOW and then shut the fuck up about it.

A person who broadcasts the fact they are MGTOW is broadcasting their desperation and insecurities for the whole world to see. It's not a movement. It's not a club. No one is there to support or defend you. You either go your own way or you don't. 100% of MGTOWs online are gamma males. The MGTOW does not and should not exist online unless his MGTOW-ness is kept completely in the dark.

I consider him one of the greatest living authors.
>He rose and stood tottering in that cold autistic dark with his arms outheld for balance while the vestibular calculations in his skull cranked out their reckonings
- the road
>In the end we all come to be cured of our sentiments. Those whom life does not cure death will. The world is quite ruthless in selecting between the dream and reality, even where we will not. Between the wish and the thing the world lies waiting. I've thought a great deal about my life and my country. I think there is little that can be truly known. My family has been fortunate. Others were less so. As they are often quick to point out.
-all the pretty horses
>Suppose two men at cards with nothing to wager save their lives. Who has not heard such a tale? A turn of the card. The whole universe for such a player has labored clanking to his moment which will tell if he is to die at that man’s hand or that man at his. What more certain validation of a man’s worth could there be? This enhancement of the game to its ultimate state admits no argument concerning the notion of fate. The selection of one man over another is a preference absolute and irrevocable and it is a dull man indeed who could reckon so profound a decision without agency or significance either one. In such games as have for their stake the annihilation of the defeated the decisions are quite clear. This man holding this particular arrangement of cards in his hand is thereby removed from existence. This is the nature of war, whose stake is at once the game and the authority and the justification. Seen so, war is the truest form of divination. It is the testing of one’s will and the will of another within that larger will which because it binds them is therefore forced to select. War is the ultimate game because war is at last a forcing of the unity of existence. War is god.
-blood meridian
His words stick in my head more than anyone else I've ever read.

i'm 2 chapters in and it felt good reading it. From what I understand this author is the guy who influenced the guy who influenced Trump..

When you listen to Trump, he never shows his weaknesses. He knows better, I on the other hand always do. Because it is natural for me and when people expose themselves to me I am comforting and sympathetic naturally while there are alot of people who try to knock you down.

I get this is alot and I kind of attribute it to my presence which is big. I'm handsome, tall 6'1 and 8 years in the gym. Men react to me before I even talk.

It seems like they take some kind of pleasure trying to knock me down.
No matter how kind and respectful I am.

I need to learn how to compete in this type on environment and I hope I can find that balance in a book.

You have read my situation, what would you recommend I read?
>>
>>41322332

The book in the OP sounds like it would help you a lot.
>>
How is it that every self-help book has a totally different view of human interaction yet gets lauded as THE ONE TRUE KEY TO MAKING IT?
How to Win Friends is just "madly suck the dicks of everyone better than you then they might let you into their circle"
48 Laws is just "go out of your way to be a two-faced asshole"
No More Mr Nice Guy is just "use other people for personal gain" without noting that this will just leave you lonely and despised

Why aren't there any self-help books that aren't autistic extremism, and are based on forming healthy productive relationships?
>>
>>41322332

You sound like a stock photo of business lunch.

If you want a better life go live a better life.you're reading self help books because you're dull and feeling like you have an edge in your every day life is enough to obscure the wet pain of said dullness. Stop pussyfooting life like the pua queef of a man you are. It's like you want to get laid as little as possible, have no great adventure, and no true love. I found all 3. Beat my score faggot. Stop looking to other people for answers. They don't have them. You do.
>>
>>41322396
I am an autist but I still realize that boiling down human interaction into either a fedora or boomer catchphrase isn't the way to go
I want a guide that kind of dissects how people interact, not just a flat list of traits that the author tells you you have to have to automatically become a cool guy.

People come from different circumstances.

Did you have family connections?
Did you have a friend who helped you?

Alot of people are on their own, they are poor. They come from poor people.
They have mental illness.
They are trying their best and looking for help.

All memery aside that is a good book.

Just as others have warned don't go all in. Remember that the Incel dogma is the male equivalent to feminism. Don't let it become part of your who are just read the book to see how the world works.

How to win Friends and Influence people is the best of all and the Book of Pook is still a pretty good read. All free online.

I also recommend Verbal Judo and Sgt Rory Millers books on Violence. These aren't related to girls bu you're trying to grasp socialising overall and these are invaluable.

Most of the chads I knew did when they were teenagers or were taught it by their Dads or Uncles. Most incels are just late developers who couldn't give a rats ass about girls at 14-15 when other boys were solely obsessed with the subject.

>mfw that's me and I still barely give a rats ass about girls and just feel lonely or sad when I see kids and babies playing and being adorable and shit

You and me both.

Having a girlfriend is largely just a social obligation to me and not something i directly desire in itself.

I think the mere act of reading at least an hour a day is what is crucial, doesn't really matter what you read, as long as its not 4chan all day

reading a book hones your concentration and steadies your mood

Do 20 minutes of meditation, then read for an hour, doesn't matter how fast you read, as long as you are reading pages in a book and thinking about what you are reading

your brain will grow

My boyfriend's bookshelf is a mix of genre fiction (mostly horror and sci-fi), classics, and philosophy books with a shelf on the bottom for his STEM programming books that I don't touch. I was kind of impressed.

As an addendum to this the best pop Psychology book I've ever read hands down was Flow by [unpronouncable Hungarian name]. Should be easy to google and well worth a read.

Marx's critique of capitalism had quite few valid points, but the system he proposes is based on false assumptions and has the same ends as capitalism. I prefer to view communism as the logical evolution of pure capitalism. If you want me to clarify or expand on anything just tell me, I don't want to wast my time if I don't get some tasty (you) 's to show for it.

In this modern society there is no fault in attempting to attain something natural that is being eroded away by those who would wish to control you. I wish we lived in a place and time where "men are men and women are women", but pretending we do is harmful to those that need help.
