The guy on the right didn't have gains to begin with tho. I've been lifting less and less the last 2 years and I'm running 15 or so km 3x / week and while much have disappeared I still have noticable muscle, especially my traps, back and leg area. I'm not saying an ultra marathon running schedule will leave you with a godlike physique but a little bit of cardio won't kill nothing.

he's also almost certainly lying about some of his accomplishments. he's said, amongst other things, that he has a 4:15 mile (in that kind of shape). the automatic Olympic qualifying standard over 1500 metres in the US in 2016 was 3:38 (~3:50/mi). it's so obviously bullshit and he's never given any evidence for it or any other running feats, aside from running ultras (slowly)
