Even worse, I work at a hotel whose main clientele is construction workers (or people of that nature). We have a shitty fitness facility in the basement and sometimes I show people some shit or give people advice. You would not believe some of the shit I've fucking heard over the past year and a half from these mouth-breathers. God I hate these people so much.

We don't have a barbell, just a really shitty gym. But people think putting the bowflex on maximum resistance makes you fucking superman (it's like 50lbs of resistance). And don't even get me started on the techniques these retards tell each other when using the dumbbells. Ever seen a grown man proclaim how strong he is because he works all day and then fail a 25lb dumbbell bench press? I have. Fat fucks come in and eat a 2000 calories breakfast then do 50 bicep curls at 10lbs and think they are buff.

I've always done very minimalistic lifting routines and aside from my first couple of weeks on SS and the light day on TM, I've never managed to finish a gym session in less than an hour. Usually around 1.5 hours. Including the walking time to and from the gym and showering at home or in the gym and it easily adds up to over 2 hours of my day spent on lifting. Add the fact that you need to focus on your protein intake, 6-9 hours of sleep and it'd be better if you focus on your overall food intake and you've spent most of your free time on your lifting hobby. Just have a notebook and write down what you ate and get the info from the nutrition labels. Oh dont remember what the label was? Take a picture. Plus youll end up remembering most of your staple foods like almonds, milk, eggs, whey etc.

Buy a food scale and weigh out what you eat. And use my fitness pal and scan the barcode on your food. Make sure the label and mfp match though, i've seen some things 100 calories or so off. If you can't find it on mfp, then use the manual mode and keep track.
