For real though

I do these during basic stretches and when I'm doing easy lifts.
And sometimes whenever I'm sitting/standing around not doing much.

There are no downsides to it, and it trains that band of muscle right above the abs to stay nice and tight.
i.e. it helps you not have abs that stick out far from your gut like a fucking mong

I think they help keeping the waist tight, and they're so fucking easy there really isnt a reason not too.
