thats a great beer. it really does age well, i have two aging now that are almost two years old.

not an alcoholic but I have on average a beer a day. usually before my workout(don't knock it until you try it). at most i will have 4-5 beers in a day, on a weekend while with friends and/or family. that only happens once a week.

in school they teach you that having one drink a day qualifies you as an alcoholic, which is utter bullshit. i genuinely enjoy going out and trying new craft beers and visiting breweries. i don't drink to wash away sorrows or to get fucked up. if you are a legit alcoholic, look into getting some help. you shouldn't let anything run your life or interfere with your progress and success as a person. before you know it you will land yourself in serious trouble.

I drink every other day around a 6 pack. I haven't lifted in a while though I did this when I lifted also. Not alcoholic though.
>>
>>41281559
Eh, from a drunks standpoint is is nothing to do with hipsters. They range from 6% on the low side to 20% on the high side. We drink them to pretend that 5 beers are all we had instead of 10.

Why is there no /alc/ board? There's not nearly enough boards designed specifically for pretentiousness and putting others down for their inferior taste.

I drink about a beer a day, which I agree is fine. I go a little heavy on the weekends though.
120 really is a great beer.
In my state you can only buy them at the liquor store.
Do you ever worry about the alcohol effecting the muscle growth?
>>
>>41281559
I'll second this.

I was a craft beer fag for awhile but never liked IPA's, they tasted like shit whether they were $2 or $25(I've had a few friends brought).

In the end I quit beer and decided a $25 dollar bottle of bourbon was a far superior alternative and cheaper in the long run.

drinking bourbon is as tryhard as hipster's drinking the craftiest of beers

From what I have tried I really enjoy a malbec redwine from Mendoza, Argentina. As for white wine I like mostly everything. Sauvignon Blanc from Malborough New Zealand isn't bad. But i'm just starting to get into the wine scene.

When you're drinking a gallon of vodka a week and throwing up blood, you either listen to your body and get your health back, or you die.

I also have a really high tolerance so the amount I drank to get drunk is probably more than most of you.
>>
>>41282007
Not sure. Do you have a drinking problem that is affecting your life? If not then you probably don't want / need to quit

Shit was cash. That homemade shit didn't have hops either so it would spoil if you didn't keep it cool and drink it fast enough, but it was worth it. About as fresh as beer gets.

it was nectar-of-the-gods tier bro. Literally the opposite direction of an IPA, in the best way possible. No bitterness, you can taste the different grains and flavors they use. Even their blackest beers were delicious.

You'd be the first person I've ever seen/heard of doing this. What's a decent sipping rum?
>>
>>41282440
Depends on your tastes, m8.

I love Appleton Estate 12yo and would give it to whiskey drinkers to show them that rum can be nice if all they knew is white Barardi trash. Jamaican rum is generally pretty rich and full flavoured

I really love Pussers navy strength but that's too intense for a lot of people. Rums from former Spanish colonies are generally milder and smooth, I loved Zapaca 23yo. French colony rum is funky and has a herbal quality since it's generally made from fresh cane juice rather than molasses, 'rhum agricole'. Barbancourt 8yo from Haiti is great, basically a cane juice cognac aged in Limousine oak. Mount Gay also has good older stuff.

There's a whole world of top tier rum out there and it's generally better priced than stuff like whisky and cognac, but people are catching on it seems.

I'd go with the Appleton 12yo.

The whole point of an IPA is the hop profile which degrades fairly quickly.

Was alcoholic for better part of a year.

Started a new progression/cardio, don't have any spare recovery time for getting blasted.

Anyway raise your weights and start cardio, it cures expensive gross alcoholism.
