Now what is the correct range of motion for this fucker exercise? People usually say the bar should touch your chest but in most cases people turn auf pullup into a bodyweight row that way. However Scooby points out that eye/nose level is enough to activate lats in a Pullup.
Now which one is right? Above chin or eye level?
Pretty much talking about one like that

Like the military counts them, chin over bar
>>41260132
What about the elbows? Pointing outwards or inwards your body?

Doesn't matter

>depressing your shoulderblades after every rep
why tho? seems like that will just aggrevate the shoulder joint

This webm makes me tingle

>yfw no qt to perform exercize with
>>41260124
why do I find this better than watching porn with people doing naked push-ups together?
It depends on your biomechanics, but scoobs is probably right.

>tfw no thicc gym gf to work out with
why do like 1% of girls go to the gym
>>41260124
i didn't realize simulated dry humping was an exercise these days

>why do like 1% of girls go to the gym
Because they dont need to?

Aim for the feeling of putting them in your back pockets. Switches the lats on.
>>41260124
Until nose/mouth is at bar level. most people wont be able to keep their arms/scapula in the correct path going higher, causing their shoulder to roll forward and will fuck your cuffs up

Porn is full of gross humans
>>41260124
It literally depends on your proportions. Just go as high as you can while keeping your forearms vertical.
>>41260124
I go up as much as the biomechanics allow me to.
And then go down completely to a dead hang (however still tight so my back doesn't slack and your shoulder joints become the only think you keep hanging on and then it is more difficult to get back into the proper pull-up, thus you will make less reps).

Range of motion is different for everyone.
You should go up as far as you can while keeping good technique.
That means no anterior tilt of the shoulders. (see image on what to avoid)
