Gonna donate some plasma tomorrow on a rest day, will I lose gains?

Nah, you'll be fine. As long as you don't lift later that same day it shouldn't affect you much. Just maybe eat a little extra.
>had blood tests done today at university wellness center
>first one in for testing when lab opens, door is where people line up
>at uni girls are best up
>needle goes in, chatting with nurse as blood squirts out
>nurse asks me to hold the cotton in place
>feint
>wake up 5 mins later to 3 nurses around me with apple juice and cookie
>empty waiting room
>every qt saw me
>oldest nurse says "men" and rolls her eyes as she walked out
I am so ashamed of myself for actually drinking that sugary juice and eating a cookie like a child

youll probably lose some plasma

Do you weigh like 100 pounds? Only ever seen the smallest of people pass out from donating
>>41247173
Apparently your body expends ~400 calories creating more plasma after donating. Might want to eat more to compensate. Also a shit load of water.
I need to start donating again, 800 calories a week is probably more than what I burn doing cardio.

That's a cute story anon

Watch out for your protein levels because you will lose quite a lot donating plasma. Replenish after that. I was constantly locked because I never had enough protein in my blood after donating and doing quite a lot of sports.

>donating blood
never gonna make it.

I've had the same thing happen, I have pretty low blood pressure usually around 84/52, I've fainted a few times. Try flexing and releasing your muscles during and after the blood draw, temporarily raises your blood pressure makes you less likely to faint.

6"2 240. I've dropped 50lbs since the last time I had blood taken (blood type pudding at the time). I laid around in triage for a while after till my blood pressure went up and a nurse said the weight loss may have been a factor but i think she was just being nice.

Have you ever gone light headed during a lift with that? Seems really close to hypotension

>donating blood at Red Cross
>it's pretty busy, a few cuties there
>nurse keeps complaining that my vein is rolling
>she sticks me over 10 times
>keeps digging in
>eventually tell her to stop because I'm feeling light headed and she's not getting anything done
>she gets pissed at me and tells me to drink more water and calls me weak for complaining
>tell her I won't be coming back and she should get some more practice
>8/10 cutie follows me out
>says "what a bitch, fuck this place"
>cutie asks if I want to go somewhere
>tell her I'm busy but get her number
>wake up next morning and my entire arm is a bruise, more holes in it than a drug addict
never again
