should I work out with sore muscles still? I can barely do a push up, but I can try. I don't know if I'll hurt myself if i push it too much. should I keep training intensely later this night? or should I rest up a bit before going at it again?

Take a look at people with impressive strength, physique or athletic skills.
Do you think they skip workouts because of a little soreness? No.

the only time i was TEMPTED to skip a workout was when i had bicep doms and my arms wouldn't straighten. but i still went to the gym. it's best if you go even when it's sore and if it reaches an unmanageable amount of pain take a rest day and grab an ice pack

If you are just a little sore, then you should go.
If you really are that sore, then you won't really get any stronger and the chance of injury is high. It would be better to go tomorrow if you are that bad. Make sure always to wait at least 24 hours before lifting the same muscle groups again. However, calves, abs, and biceps recover much faster and CAN be done everyday.

Yes, get lots of blood pumping. Blood heals. Embrace it, every time Im sore it lessens after I worked out
