They're good at the end of a superset or dropset, helps you really burn the muscle till complete exhaustion and is as hard or as easy as you make it.

I'm a different guy with a dad who likes resistance bands. That's how he got into them, he needed PT. They're good, but progressive overload tops out too soon to be useful as training gear.

To clarify for others, you stand on the band and pull up with your hands. Kinda like curls, but instead you're pulling the rope thing up with your hands.
