the "get protein within 30min or the workout was in vain" is a brosciene myth, but getting some protein in within a couple hours is just common sense
I do it right after lifting and right before I get in the shower, makes it easy to get 75g protein and not have to think about a shake the rest of the day. I sneak it in whenever I can on non lifting days
