>tfw lifting for 6 months and made no visible gains
Is there even any point continuing to lift if I'm only getting stronger and getting no visible gains? I can't afford to eat more so that's out of the question as well considering the gym membership itself is 35 dollars and I'm already living in poverty

>I can't afford to eat more
You can, try harder
>>41228061
I already only buy stuff on sale and get stuff from the food bank and I still cant get enough food to gain any weight
>>41228044
Literally just eat rice and legumes, cheap as fuck, healthy and high in calories and protein

>lift if I'm only getting stronger
You're not getting stronger. You're getting more mechanically proficient and performing the movements more skillfully thus requiring less strength than before in spite of lifting a higher number.

I've definitely got stronger, my bench went from 115 lbs to 235
>>41228435
Nope. You just got more skilled and proficient at it. Same reason little girls bench 3plate.

They don't bench it's just a warm up to get the blood pumping. They do db presses and cable crossovers as their main.

Yeah no m8

Breh your barely breaking lmao2plate ain't strength. It's mechanical proficiency. Little girls slap your shit.

>tfw lifting for 4 years and made no visible gains
The numbers keep going up, but I look the same in the mirror.
