Hey /fit/,
We recently launched our app to help runners find running partners nearby who run at the same pace and speed. We have 6k users, mainly in Europe atm but we have a few downloads in the US as well. We think it could interest some of you who are looking for running mates for extra motivation, preparing a marathon... Reviews and feedback are always welcome !

yeah I know the FB login is a big barrier for many people. I personally hate giving away my FB infi to apps, but this is a choice we made when we developped our MVP. We are currently working on an email login that will be available in the coming months. Thanks for your interest though, i can recontact you when this feature will be available

Is it only french? Do you need some basic translations for the netherlands? I dont see other competition so, the best of luck to you. But yea, the facebook thing really is horrible. They data mine, use evil cookies, they even demand the ID pictures for their data collection.
Also, it could definitely work. I do have a need for this. Not enough QT grills nearby and I almost completely refuse to date any non runners as I have this fear of them ballooning up.

Yes we are based in France, but we will internationalize once we manage to hire the right CTO + raise some funds.
Translations are always welcomed ! When you downloaded the app, was it in French or English ? It is supposed to be in English when you download from another store than the French play sotre/app store but we had some users who downloaded the app from abroad and had the french version.
The app is multipurpose, you can use it to find other runners to train but also QT runners nearby ;) we leave the choice to the user, whether he/she wants to only meet same-sex/opposite sex people .
