I'm very conscious of the meal sizing I eat. If I have to do work or study on my computer then I make sure the meal size is moderate and no more.
Really big meals are ok if you want to have a nap afterwards or if you're going to sleep, sounds counterintuitive but if a workout is that intense you sleep through anything.
I found that I got a pretty good boost overall from switching off a more if it fits your macros diet to a whole foods for about 80% of what I eat. You'll need more food volume wise but the meal prep meme is real and it works quite well with variety.
And in terms of caffeine, 2 strong black coffees a day max. spaced well otherwise energy can crash, only 1 if I take preworkout
