I got really sick after drinking kombucha. Felt like I had the flu for days. My diet is pretty healthy, too. From what I've read, either it just really didn't agree with me, or it killed off other bacteria in my gut, which released all sorts of toxic shit. Either way, no more kombucha for me.

Just one article, on mobile, if you look for scholarly data on fermented foods and probotics there is plenty.

Ferment your own shit though the pills are shit they only list bacteria count at time it was produced. Could be significatly less.
