Who is /fat/ for? Fat members of /fit/ who want
>Lose weight
>Get a more /fit/ body by lifting weights
>Autistically change your diet to some ultra vegetable no sweets autism because extremism is always good am i right ;^)
Here we ask others for advice and give moral support to one another if you are too weak to survive solo. We all know losing weight when you are fat is easy if you just reduce calorie intake, literally piece of cake. At the end of the day this is a support general whose goal is to help and motivate the chubby channers who need to lose weight for a number of reason. Please be warned that there are some chronic idiots who post in this general giving horrible advice to troll or to reassure their extremist autism works for themselves, don't bother, always remember calorie intake, if it is lesser than how many calories your body burns you ll be fine.
And remember, if you are a loser when fat you ll still be a loser if you are thin, your weight isn't the problem.

How do i calculate fried chicken if it is home made?

It is chicken breast pieces, dipped in flour+pepper, dipped in egg, dipped in bread crumbs, then repeat 1 more time.

Then fry on vegetable oil in a pan.

How do i calculate each piece? The main issue is oil, no idea how i can calculate that.
>>
>>41186387
It can't be any worse
Than KFC so use their numbers.
>>
>>41186387
3.5 oz of chicken breast is 180 calories.

Literally just bump that up to 3 or 400 is what I'de do. Better to overestimate than underestimate.
>>
>>41186370
In March of this year I found out I was pre-diabetes with an A1C of 5.8. I'm 6'0'' & I used to weigh 230 pounds.
Now I'm at 206 and did it with cardio every day and eating healthier.

I stopped lifting after the diagnosis because I felt distraught and was focusing on cardio.
I'm gonna start lifting again since I felt good doing it and was less depressed over all. Not to mention it helps with weight loss and metabolism.

I'm ashamed that I put myself at risk at such a young age at 28. I'm still scared that I might get the full diabetes even if I eat healthy and stay active, but I'm going to be positive and keep up what I'm doing. This lifestyle change is worth fighting for.

We're all gonna make it!
>>
I'm watching my calories but I'm worried I'm getting too little protein I'm doing fine enough at around or less than 1500 calories a day with multivitamin and exercise but I don't want to end up fucking myself over with too little protein. Should I buy into the protein shake meme or is there another alternative for Anons who are avoiding eating too much? Also is key lime yogurt a good idea?
>>
>>41186477
>losing 24 pounds in 2 months
That feels off. Then again my weight might also drop quickly if my body doesn't spaz and put energy into fat instead of the muscles I've been working.
>>
>>41186387
You could get a piece, weigh it before it's dipped in the breading, weigh it after it's breaded and weigh it once again after it's done and dry. You know the macros of the breading and you know the macros of the oil. Just to be sure you can round up the numbers a bit. Some of the nutritional value is lost in cooking anyway. Or just assume that it's about 7 or 8 calories per gram and go by that.

Or you can not fucking eat fried chicken while on a diet what's wrong with you there are better ways to hit your calories/macro goals, especially if you don't know how to count that shit.

Remember, going under isn't a problem, going over is.

Meal prep pham. This is baked chicken (pack of 6 of those GMO chicken tiddies from Walmart) in the oven and steamed veggies with a jar of hot salsa poured over it. About 400 calories per meal.

Right now I'm at 206.
When I was diagnosed on March 17, I was 229.
I immediately started doing some form of cardio (jogging, elliptical, or incline treadmill).
And at work, I walk during all my breaks and during my lunch.
Also, I've recently started getting up every 20-30 minutes at my job to walk up stairs and occasionally doing squats in the restroom when no one is looking.

I've also been eating significantly healthier (oatmeal for breakfast, turkey slice sandwiches on ezekiel whole grain bread, and whatever my mom makes for dinner).
My mom's a health nut, so she's been very helpful. I also drink this vegetable juice that she makes from some nutritonist she follows in this video.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rf9MIJTDSDo
>>
>>41186555
I also forgot to mention that I've been eating pears or apples to snack between lunch and dinner.

Wait, so I really shouldn't go under my BMR?
But according to tdeecalculator.net, I need to cut below my BMR on days I don't do sports anyways.
>>
>>41186585

I'd tread carefully with that, remembering it's a calculator, you should try to eat just above BMR range; in essence, you need your BMR range per day at the very least (from what i understand), so you'll want to eat that amount at bare minimum. The think i'm looking at with your shit is that it looks like you're wanting to get less BF%, which is all about diet with specific Carb/Protein/Fat spread while also doing exercises for it.

In your case, read up on BMR, find out what exactly you need at bare minimum and find out how to lose body fat properly if you're unsure, my personal opinion is that you'll wanna eat your BMR and then some. Also, double check you've entered your details correct into that calculator, just in case.
>>
>>41186585

Perhaps someone who's a dietitian could be of better assistance, but i'm pretty sure i'm right.
>>
>>41186585

Tell you what, i'll do some look around, post some shit and try to help you out and to clarify my own understanding. Check back soon.

>>
>>41186727
The pic is me trying to figure the bare minimum a human body needs. It's really debated shit.

The general census that i'm getting from these sources [Linked at end] are that you CAN eat below your BMR, but you risk not eating enough nutrients to sustain a healthy and active lifestyle. There are some, such as the blog "free dieting" that say men shouldn't eat under 1800, but no source for that would tell me that might be more superstitious. Overall though, a lot of times 1200 is thrown around as the bare minimum for eating enough and taking in enough nutrients through a very controlled diet.

Which means that you have to be very picky with what you're eating mate, I've been malnourished in vain attempts to lose weight quickly, and that shit is scary. So make sure you're hitting your Macros and your other micro-nutrients well, taking proper multi-vitamins and shit otherwise you're on a trip up shits creek mate.

>>
>>41186727

But yeah, my suggestion stays the same, eat over your BMR, if you exercise, make sure you're hitting your BMR overall, aim to hit your nutrients properly.

I'd also discuss this with your local GP for a more professional opinion, because the risks are really fucking high if you fuck up this tightrope walk mate. Best of luck though.
>>
>>41186812

For those wanting to lose weight, they should eat at BMR since BMR is a near exact science to calculate. It's also very generous if you aren't bulking and only eating when hungry with filling meals
>>
>>41186712
I was also overweight as a kid too.
I've been large for a good portion of my life. I'm fortunate that I'm only at pre-diabetes.
I hope I can go back to normal and not worry about any complications. I've heard it is possible to get your body back to normoglycemia if you're pre-diabetic.
I'm dedicated to big lifestyle changes, I'm in it to win it.
>>
>>41186830

I thought as much, don't know why i doubted myself. Thanks for the assist mate
>>
>>41186830
>>41186843
What about eating under BMR?

I'm 5'10.5, 200lbs, BMR is supposedly 1900. I like to cut at 1500.
>>
>>41186753
>1 salad 50

I'm finding this hard to believe unless it consists entirely of unseasoned lettuce or the portion is something like 2 tablespoons.
>>
>>41186906
Unseasoned spinach actually.

I'll count it as 100kcal just in case
>>
>>41186881

I'm not too sure, again, most of the shit i read said stay at the very least 1200, better to be 1500, and that one article saying men should be at 1800 minimum. If you've been cutting at 1500 and hitting your nutritional need, then you're probably fine, it's most likely that you've overestimated your activity level/ the calculations for your BMR is wrong.

But again, i'm not a professional, if you're completely unsure, seek medical advice at a GP, if you've done it for ages and you're not sick, perhaps you've just been given a wrong number?
>>
>>41186795
It's so fucking good though. Could eat it every meal. If you eat for variety you are a slave to food.
>>
is there any coming back from pre-diabetes? I dont have it but its a huge fear of mine
>>
Am i the only one that buys clothing smaller than my actual size to motivate myself?
>>
>>41186799
300 pound who was 420 pound here. I have been living off 1200 calories with 1 bottle of smart water and a 16oz bottle of regular water a day. I walk 30-50 minutes a day. I feel better than when I was eating 2200 a day which is what I'm supposed to be eating.

Tldr: If its exact science why is this not killing me?
>>
>>41187006
because you're still a higher weight, your body makes up for the lack of calories with the fat, according at least, to what i've read. The issue you'd face with that small of caloric intake is Malnutrition, which is why i'm hesitant to just say "go as low as you want", because if you don't hit your nutritional intake, it's a fucked place to be.

I think overall though, if it's been working for you so far, you're not feeling the symptoms of malnutrition and you're still far above the range where you really have to be careful of BMR, then you're good to keep on going.

But again, I hope for your sake that you're consciously paying attention to your nutrition intake, because fuck me you'll be risking a lot if that shit is imbalanced.
>>
>>41186954
>the calculations for your BMR is wrong.

BMR is pretty hard and fast m8. And activity level has nothing to do with BMR. You're thinking of TDEE.

I wasn't the dude you were talking to btw, which I think caused some confusion- I don't have problem losing weight at 1500, was just jumping into the convo. Probably shoulda said as such. My b.

I feel like my net is too large like this dude is saying. I burn too much and don't have the "mindset" to eat it back so I'm in a huge deficit.

I'm gonna start changing my macros around because I've stalled at 165. (Trying to cut to 155 again). I plan on eating a fuck ton more carbs on training days then I have been.

2300 on Training days (M/W/F). 1800 on Tues/Thurs with IF. 2200 On Sat/Sun (sat/sun I walk around 23000 Steps ~3k Cals)

For reference here's my last week's total.

Just bit of motivation for anyone thinking you're stuck at the same weight for life
Used myfitnesspal to track diet, ate ~1300 cals a day for 2 years, lost 13 stone (168lbs)
Major diet change was oats and green apples breakfast and lunch.
I'm not preaching to anyone or giving a miracle cure just saying it is definitely possible

The less the better.

I found that cutting out sugar made me appreciate other foods way more. Cottage cheese for example used to be absolutely disgusting to me, but now I could, and usually do, eat it every day happily. Health reasons aside, that alone i think was reason enough to avoid sugar if at all possible.

I'm a tad bit chubby and I wonder if this is due to the paper having much calories or if it's something else in my everyday diet.

Just needs to be routine. One thing I did find helpful is logging your meals for the day at the start of the day rather than as you go; you find yourself thinking you don't want to 'cheat' on the app strange as it sounds. It also helps if you link with pacer or another step-counting app that updates your remaining cals so you can see what your allowance is if you feel like you need a 'cheat' snack or whatever

>>41187419

Too poor to afford one.

My lunch today was nice, fried some cauliflower rice with salt, pepper and oregano. It really tastes no different from regular rice at that point.

Then I boiled up the leftover of my veggie roast from yesterday with some red cabbage, asparagus, tiny bit of scotch bonnet and onion. When I boiled it, I've learned to chuck in some curry powder and spices, then I drained it a little and added the curry sauce, cooked it until it was creamy.

Massive plate of curry but I would estimate at best 500 calories.

Why do you want to go with some shitty meme diet? Will you be able to keep it for life? Don't look for temporary solutions, look for permanent changes (mostly replacing your food with healthier versions) and you won't have a problem sticking to your diet.

Not that anon, but I do 16:8 most days and occasionally 23:1. I do the 23:1 days specifically so if I want to have a binge night with some friends I can do so without guilt. If anything, it's easier to stick to intermittent fasting than anything else.

You can eat above TDEE in a one-hour binge.
>>
>>41188935
It's reasonable to adjust the diet to your schedule but eating one/two/six/gorillion meals a day isn't some sort of miraculous solution. I've done IF, now I eat 3 times a day because of my new classes schedule, if I eat right things then that's not a problem either way.

But from what I read half the people there go with some diet below 1200 calories. I wish them all the best but mentally it's as healthy as 5000 calories, just on another end of the spectrum. But they lose their pounds so what do I know.

>>
>>41188935

I also try now doing IF with 18:6 and its surprisingly easy, might narrow the window more down.
>>
>>41188828
Eating 1000 calories below TDEE is not sustainable, but that's what we gotta do til we're thin. The habits you need for that vs the habits you need to eat at maint are totally different.
>>
>>41188986

I have the problem that I'm a womanlet and my BMR is around 1100 if I remember right. I can have a meal and 2 snacks a day and I have already reached my limit of 1200
>>
>>41189042
You need to do that only if you want to drop weight very fast. Not saying it's in ALL cases bad, but there are also less extreme versions of cutting which I've found to be far more enjoyable. But that's only my experience, I started my cut eating something like 2200 calories a day as a 86 kg manlet and didn't suffer thinking about food all day. It's just my opinion that I shouldn't be miserable on my diet, but everyone should find what works for him.

>>41189046
Maybe move around more so your TDEE will be higher and you might be able to eat more. One 40-minute run is about 500 calories for me, with gym it adds up to a fair amount of food.
>>
>>41189127
Also - walking instead of driving a car, taking the stairs instead of an elevator, doing household chores - it all adds up, even more than some would think.
>>
>>41189127

I'm mostly on my feet (working at a kindergarten) but since I dunno how much calories I burn I go number safe and calculate by sedetary.
I thought of buying myself such a fitbit device to count my steps but I dunno if it's worth the price tag?
>>
I am going to break into overweight this week /fat/ I can smell it
>>
>>41189170
I don't think it's worth it, for counting steps you could just download one of the free apps for your phone. But the number of steps isn't really saying much. The real question is: how much do you lose per week? If it's more than you want, then you can increase your weekly calories slightly. I assume you're just starting out since you want to play it safe, but go by your weight, a scale doesn't lie.

After this week, my BMI will be below 24.

hey, /fat/ - I recently gained 10 pounds and I was wondering what your experience with low carb / keto was?

I work on my feet three days per week, 12-15 hours running around and doing moderately vigorous activity, do mostly bodyweight stuff because there's no gym near me but I make my own weights sometimes, and do no real cardio but am probably gonna start now.

Do I have enough muscle base to perform keto correctly? Will I be able to spare my muscles while cutting some of this padding I've put on?

>Will I be able to spare my muscles while cutting some of this padding I've put on?

Yes, obviously. It's keto.
>>
>>41188985
You can, but it's pretty hard if you are eating reasonably healthy. Certainly not something that would happen everyday to me, but it does happen if say I drink more than usual or eat something really unhealthy. For the most part I eat fairly well and it is very hard to reach my TDEE doing 23:1. That's why I use 16:8 for maintaining, so I make sure I don't keep losing.

>>41188986
Yeah, there is no magic bullet. It's just about trying different things to see what works for you. There is some pretty solid science behind IF, but it doesn't mean you can't lose weight being a mealcuck.

>>41189018
That's what happened to me. I started thinking 16:8 would be hard, and then realized I could get to smaller and smaller eating windows. Now I eat at a winder window simply because I'm done losing.
>>
>>41189286
I've done both IF and keto, and both worked great, but IF is just easier since don't have to worry about a special diet. I still eat pretty high fat and avoid too many carbs doing IF though. What are your stats?
>>
>>41189286
Do resistance training and get adequate protein, and you will spare as much LBM as possible while losing weight.
>>
So I started lifting and doing cardio when I was 107KG heavy. So far I lost 7 KG in 1 1/2 month.

I haven read much about diet and stuff because I'm a bit lazy and I haven't found the time to cook something very time consuming.

My diet so far looks like this:
For breakfast I just eat 4-5 scrambled eggs

After my workout I prepare a shake with 2 bananas in it, protein stuff, milk, very low fat Joghurt and curd. I sometimes put some sunflower nuts in it because I've read they contain a lot of protein.

In the evening I cook myself 2 chicken breasts with salt and pepper.

That has been my daily routine now with the occasional Salad now and then.

>since I have no problems with it, should I keep it up or is there something I could improve?

I have to say I'm amazed of how much protein keeps me satisfied over the day. I could eat several bowls of pasta and be hungry just shortly after. After the eggs in the morning I don't have to eat until early evening.

Though I feel the whole process is getting a bit slower. I just can't go under 100KG although I haven't changed anything. Do I need to work out more ?
I run 3 times a week for 30 minutes at decent speed and lift 2 times. Shall I increase the workout duration?
Thanks in advance

I don't know man. Some say it's fine, some say it's a bit risky but I don't keep it up everyday to be honest. I've cut a bit back on the eggs because I've grown a bit sick of them. Chicken is fine but the eggs are really hard for me to eat nowadays. I just want to eat as much protein as possible.

Even if we have a cheat meal, those of us who are actually serious about our weight loss goal are still within our calorie deficit.

At worst, we're stalling progress, but not actively going against it. Fuck off with this cheat meal shit, I eat fast food, and pizza and have gone from Obese to Normal by counting calories and making mildly informed decisions with a light work out program.

Anyone else do steps at work?

I've been trying to do ~700 every hour. I just go out to the parking garage and walk back and forth.

Some people give me weird looks, but I don't give a shit. I feel like this is helping with my posture as well cuz I keep my shoulders back and neck straight while I walk.

I have a long way to go, but 38lbs down so far in 2.5 months.

Also, when will people notice my weight loss? My Wife tells me she can see it all the time, but literally no one else has said a word to me about it. I'm still a fatty at 290lbs, but I have lost 10% of my previous weight.

Is there a better way to pick produce, and store it in the kitchen? Anything I leave out attracts fruit flys and starts to blacken after 2-3 days. Stuff that I put in the fridge, for some reason the leafy shit gets frozen and turns brown, limp and soggy. That brown liquid shit.

Bananas, Blueberries, Strawberries, frozen in bag vegetables are about the only thing that let me eat produce without wincing.

For intermittent fasting: should I schedule my first meal before my workout or after?

>>
>>41191980
As someone mentioned earlier, there are produce bags that help a lot. Also when you buy the veggies at the store they are normally soaking wet and cold, and then when you drive home they warm up, creating all kinds of condensation in the bags they have at the store. So make sure to dry them before putting them into a breathable produce bag. It's also a good idea not to tie the bag until they have cooled off again in your fridge, so...

1. Get veggies at store, place in store bag but do not tie
2. When you get home, they will have warmed up and probably be wet. Dry them
3. Place in a produce bag, but do not tie, and place in the fridge
4. Come back a few hours later, then tie the bag.

For leafy greens, wash them, then dry with a salad spinner or spread on paper towels. Store in a hard container with a paper towel or two below and on top. It'll keep in the fridge for about 2 weeks.

Some produce needs to be stored in the crisper, while some can stay on the counter. Google for info on individual veggies.

Also, plan ahead of time and buy varying degrees of ripeness. If it's something that ripens quickly (say, avocados) but you eat it almost every day, get one or two rock hard ones, almost ripe ones, and ripe ones, and just eat the ones that are furthest along.

Also frozen is a good bet for most fruits and many vegetables. If I won't finish my bananas in time, I slice them up and stick them in the freezer. Google is your friend when determining if something can be frozen.

Why are fat people dumb? BMR is what your body needs to perform it's everyday functions. TDEE is what your body uses up entirely throughout the day and NOT just what is used to keep yourself alive. You're at least the 4th person to mistake BMR for TDEE in this thread.
>>
>>41192420
Just start working out now. The "you can't build muscle on a cut" meme is a meme.
Unless you mean bulk as in excuse to get fat again.

105kg, 5'10, eating 1900cal per day. I run a minimum of a mile a day and workout four days a week 5/3/1.

I suffer from GERD rather bad which gives me horrendously bitter tastes in my mouth. Chewing gum is helping, but does anyone know a way to fix the taste? Currently trying to get it corrected through the doctor but nothing has shown up in any of the tests yet.
>>
>>41192530
you can cut under your BMR which is further under your TDEE
theoretically you could cut under your BMR forever but you'd starve to death because your bod would have too little energy to function.
if you get enough lean protein so your body doesn't eat your muscles you could probably cut until you're happy with your body (with enough willpower) but you'd be hungry all the time
>>
>>41192601
>you'd be hungry all the time
Nope, you just need to spend every kcal at your disposal and most filling and protein rich foods.

If one takes care of themselves after being diagnosed to have prediabetes, how fucked are they?
Can your body go back to normal or is prediabetes permanent even if your body is very healthy? Some people say it goes away completely, others say it's with you forever like full Type 2 Diabetes.

My doctor made it seem like it's no big deal other than a wake up call. I could have sworn it was a serious condition in it of itself. She even set up my next physical and blood lab test for next year.

When you get done with your workout you need to lay down perpendicular to a wall with your butt against it and put your feet above you on the wall. Rest like that for up to about 3-5 minutes or as long as you can without your feet falling asleep.

I built a home gym. Use OfferUp/Craigslist. Spent about 600 bucks for squat rack with lat pull down and an adjustable pulley, adjustable bench with leg curl/preacher curl attachments, power bar, 235Lbs of plates, adjustable dumbells, and two 4'x6' 3/4" rubber mats (from the farm supply store, they are horse stall mats, wayyyy cheaper than "gym mats")

Also got an elliptical before I got the lifting stuff, found a precor commercial elliptical for 150 bucks, was only 3 years old and was in an apartment complex but they upgraded cuz they wanted ones with integrated TVs.

Planning on joining the Air Force, need to drop ~15 lbs. (197 currently, was 245 lbs)
Any tips on dropping it as fast as possible? Used MyFitnessPal before with great success and as mentioned by earlier posts.. OATS.

I currently run a 5K Tue/Thu/Sat, with Week 4 (progressing to C25K completion) on Mon/Wed/Fri. I just decided to throw in 1 - 2 hours of cycling every day. My daily intake is also about 1200 - 1500 calories, but I get really REALLY damn hungry around Dinner time. Any suggestions on your personal "miracle" foods would be great, I constantly preach the power of Oatmeal to anyone looking to lose weight. Other than that, I make sure to have a gallon of water every day, usually 16 oz every 2 hours.

Also, I occasionally get sabotaged by getting dragged to the bar with friends (and do 4 - 9 Irish Car Bombs, send help.), but I have told them that enough is enough and I'm getting tired of being the Designed "most sober" Driver.

Will provide more info if needed

I dunno man.

I'm 31. Started at 328 lbs, but I KNOW I was fatter before that. beetus runs in my family. I used to have pain in my right foot constantly, to the point where I would hobble if I got up after sitting for even like 15 minutes.

Since I've dropped 38lbs, that pain is gone. I don't even know when it went away. I was not diagnosed as pre-diabetic when I had bloodwork done about 2 years ago, and once I've lost 50lbs I'm gonna go see the doc and get the full workup done. You're not fucked. You can fix it, but you gotta start NOW. TODAY. I was in your boat for a loooong time. I was fat and I knew I needed to do something about it, but I always figured "ahh, I'll lose weight eventually"

Well, eventually didn't come until 31 years old, and I wish to God I had started sooner. I don't know why I thought I would magically wake up skinny one day, but I did. Pro Tip: you won't either. Get one a plan, lose the weight while you're young. It only get harder as you get older.

Trust me, bro. I'm you from the future.
>>
>>41194188
Depends on your program, but if you're really hurting take it easy. Maybe just go for a walk instead of whatever exercises you normally do.

I've been watching how much I've eaten, in March, and weighed 277 lbs from 285.

I've now started changing my diet, a couple weeks ago, reduced my fast food intake to almost zero (only eating on cheat days or if I need to boost my caloric intake so it's closer to 1,500 - 2,000) and started going to the gym regularly.

I'm currently at 270 lbs with 36% fat (was 37).

All this because I decided I want to look more appealing to girls - they used to hit on me when I was only slightly overweight, but I was too oblivious about it.

So far, I'm struggling with my main entrees for lunch and dinner; I'll just cook chicken or salmon without seasoning, with a serving of raw vegetables. It's healthy, but the calories are too low; I wonder if I should include bbq sauce to the chicken and/or seasoning salt to the salmon? Perhaps double my portions... one baked chicken is only 110 calories.

Check out youtube for beginner bodyweight programs. You can do some good work if you do a bunch of exercises right in a row (like push ups, burpees, etc.) I've never actually done these but my wife has, so I don't know everything involved, but basically you get like 5-6 exercises and do each like 8-10 times and that is one interval. Then as you progress you try to up the number of intervals you do.

Either way, your body needs rest days to build that muscle. Go for an hour walk or something if you're really hurting. Despite some memes you'll see on this board, over-training is real, especially for beginners.

Still have bitch tits and and belly, and a fair amount of loose skin, tho prob not enough that I'd ever get surgery. Not that I'm finished anyway. Would like to get 175ish. This retarded all-or-nothing approach is what makes people snap and balloon back up. If you demand NO cheat days and NO fuck-ups you are setting yourself up to fail. That's not sustainable. Nobody has perfect iron willpower like that, sooner or later you snap. And if you go with the attitude that ANY MINOR SLIP is unacceptable, then the inevitable slip will demotivate you and you're more likely to throw your hands up and go on a week-long binge instead of taking a deep breath and trying to do better tomorrow.

Stop giving shit advice.

Hey that's great man. I'm not gonna lie to you, you're gonna have extra skin starting at a weight that high. But don't let that discourage you. Even having the skin is a thousand times better than being so big. If you're anything like me (ie a loser) you never have to worry about anyone seeing you naked anyway. And if you get decent clothes grills still may flash a smile your way. It's worth it.

One other thought, is that while losing weight is awesome, for me nothing really changed in my life. Some people noticed and complimented, and I think I look better. I love to run these days, 3-4 times a week for 4miles. I was able to help my dad with some roofing project and wasn't tired at all. But I'm still the same person. I'm still a kissless virgin at 28.

When I started off, and throughout the journey, I fantasized about hitting those milestones. I thought, oh man if I could just be under 250. Oh man, if I could just be under 225. Oh man if I could be under 200 that would be freaking amazing. If I could just be a normal BMI. Well here I am at 182, still not happy. Still not done. But that's okay. Just realize that when you actually hit some of the milestones, you might find yourself disappointed. But don't let that stop you.

Yup. I just want to be thin. I just want people to look at me and think I'm a thin man.

That and I love to run, so being thinner is always great, even though I'm still slow as fuck.

Goodnight my good /fat/lads! Be strong, hit your deficits, and hit your macros. We can all make it together!

>3/4 of a cup of cereal (cheerios) is 110 calories
>only one quarter below that, at 1/2 a cup vanilla icecream is 110 calories
Ever since i've actually learned about calories and started counting them i've noticed some crazy shit. Icecream seems pretty low, why is that? I figured ice cream was really bad but it seems low on calories assuming you don't eat a mountain of it, and it's actually not super high in sugar or anything.

Im a fat fuck, and I think what's driving me most is the current culture war. I want to be a fit well dressed role model spewing my hate instead of a neckbeard, damnit.

Depends on the ice cream I'd guess, but my problem is I don't want just a 1/2 cup. I want a huge bowl full of ice-cream. Actually ice-cream doesn't tempt me that much, but what does is peanut butter. Oh god. It's like 190 calories for 2 tbsp (32gram) but to me it's like the nectar of the gods.

I could eat 3 huge jars of peanut butter every day, one at every meal if I let myself. So every once in a while if I've done good for a few weeks, I splurge and just pig out on some peanut butter. I grab a spoon and go to town on a jar. I'm like an insatiable beast. I just call it a write-off and get back on track afterward. Sometimes you gotta treat yo self. Just not all the time.

I've been wanting to get some of that PB2 powdered shit that you mix with water that only has 45cal for a serving. It's a little expensive, but if it lets me indulge and tastes like peanut butter, then god bless it. I know it's not as 'healthy' because by removing the fat you get rid of the good fats and vitamins, but I just need calorie control at this point.

Also here's my BMI

I'm just going to post here at no one in particular.

I'm 5 8 at 268 pounds last I checked Saturday morning. For the past three weeks I've been going back and forth between 270 and 268. I am missing my "be at least 230 by October" goal by 10 pounds.

I think I was doing good at first. Last July I was 330 pounds and I've made it this far. You might think this is a plateau or something but its all completely my fault and I want to go through with killing myself for being so weak willed.

I have a huge family, both in numbers and weight. Every other fucking weekend there is something going on. This one has a birthday, that one is graduating, grandma is mad you haven't seen her lately and demands she cooks you dinner. There is always food at these things because our family are a bunch of fat cunts who bond over food. These past few weeks I've been good on the week days then the week ends happen and I know something is coming up so I say fuck it and eat whatever. I am such a piece of shit I hate myself.

It doesn't help that last Sunday when I visited my sister she tells me "Oh this girl is interested in you" once she saw an updated Facebook picture I put up. She's like 40 years old and heavier than me. If this is the only type of woman I can attract then I really have no more reason to go on. I'm not the fucking San Bernardino killer who thinks he needs 10/10 girls or nothing, but holy shit what a hit in confidence.

I missed the gym today. I'm going to force myself there tomorrow but I don't know why I'm doing it anymore. I missed my prime time years of being healthy, finding a wife and raising a child. Is it possible to find someone I can pay to have me killed? I just want it all to stop.
