I work in a cooler about 6 hours a day and I want to know this also.

Being cold burns calories and kills gains. The cold shower meme is just envirocuck gains goblins trying to get you to cut back on water and gas/electric.

Have you tried looking up "effects/benefits of cold showers" and reading all the reasons that don't mention water?

I don't think so since a cold shower shocks the body while being in the cold is just a constant discomfort.

However, everything I've read about cold exposure only mentions showers. I'd imagine it'd be impractical to for most people to enter a freezer/go outside, so the articles don't bother promoting it.

I have heard of people walking around in the cold with little clothes to increase mental strength though.

I was watching Rogan interview Dr Rhonda Patrick and she said yes , 5 or 6 hours a day in 50 or lower will help create brown fat.

All I know is that hot water dries my skin and cold water makes me leave the shower feeling more happy and alive. Also better for muscle recovery, which is why athletes do ice baths.
