Hey /fit/ I'm making it a goal to be able to lift my girlfriend repetitively. I'd like to be able to workouts like deadlifting her, doing push-ups with her on my back, and pull-ups with her holding into me (like in the pic). The thing is, I'm still a noob to the gym. I'm a little overweight at 5'10" and 185ibs, but I'm really trying to get in shape and build for strength.
If you were me, what workouts would you do? Any pieces of advice that you would pass on?

standard PPL for 2-3 years based on compound strength
you'll have no issue doing any of the above mentioned when you can bench 100kg for reps and deadlift/squat close to 200

A spotter shouldn't have to lift the entire weight, just take a little pressure off so you can safely rack your weight.
But I'm not lifting heavy weight.
It's a long journey but I'm on my way there.
