I don't know what my TDEE is
Some sites say as high as 2300 and some say 1800
I'm 19, 5'4.5" female 185lbs
What do I do? I need to decide on a deficit but I can't with such a difference in numbers.

Ok.. how about this then.. let's take the middle number of 2050 Cal's a day... Now minus 500 = 1550 Cal's a day... So starting this week make absolutely sure you eat EXACTLY 1550 Cal's a day.. weigh yourself first thing in the morning before and after... If you lose 1 lb congrats your maintenance is 2050 Cal's.. if you lose less then it's prob close to 1800.. more closer to 2300.. also if it's your first week of diet and exercise you may lose up to 5 or more due to water weightloss...

I would just eat 1500kcal/day for a few weeks like >>41170348 says, and if you're happy with your progress you can keep at it, or eat less, or exercise more, etc. Track what you eat with myfitnesspal or something similar.

take average.
subtract 200 from it and eat at that.
track weight.
if you're not losing fast enough, subtract 200 each couple of weeks until you are.
forget those dumb calculators.

If you are cutting it's easy. just calculate using "sedentary" setting only. sure, use a couple calculators and average them, but where people get messed up is when they try to estimate their activity level. get your sedentary tdee, subtract 500. thats your daily limit. now, if you run for 40 minutes one day, you can adjust and give yourself an additional 300 calori3s of food if you want, that day.
