Eat less. Since you're 25% bodyfat (sorry) and say you're 184 pounds you need to loose 25ish lbs of fat so cut, making sure you're eating protein and lifting so you don't lose all your muscle mass and end up Auschwitz mode. At this point all that matters is caloric deficit, if you're -300 a day (which is sane) you'll need 300ish days.

Calisthenics:you're a military man you know what this is

Curl bro routine:Any lift for the upper body with one or two sets of squats and Deadlifts A WEEK

Cardio:Running, walking, jogging, swimming, basketball, touch/flag football, basically anything that gets you up and off your ass for 30+ minutes a day.

Calorie Counting:If you're too big, eat fewer calories. If you're too small, eat more calories. If you feel and look like shit, eat better sources of calories.

Chill: Stress and the inability to deal with it will make you into a weak, impotent, fat, bitch of a man. Chill also includes rest and recouperation which will help deal with the stressors of losing weight and exercise.


I would suggest intermittent fasting and getting a fuckton of protein to prevent muscle loss. But since you probably have a hectic life I would suggest simply cutting back on calories, increasing your protein intake and cutting back on carbs with a carb refeed once a week. And eating a fast digesting carb like a piece of fruit before you workout.

To be honest, I'm still at 12-15% bodyfat myself so this advice will get you to where I am while hopefully sparring you from losing as much muscle as I did.


The other way is in the rapid fatloss handbook. That is a no bullshit fucking approach to weight loss.

I have their scales from a sale. Omron are about the best cheap electrical whatever measuring thing. The scales are better because you get the arm and legs read. It also gives a decent comparison against calipers and tape for bodyfat distribution (it's more sensitive to arm and leg fat, less so to torso. 3 point caliper measure chest and belly fat mostly so is more sensitive to torso fat. Tape assumes a larger waist relative to everything else means you're fat).

Wtf no. Doing a cut of only 300 calories is a terrible idea for almost anyone. Is one that at least 500 really so hard? It's still pretty easy and would be much faster. Can even push more than that but some people get worried about losing muscle. I cut a lot harder (-1000+) and it was worth it to me to get it done faster

From that image I would estimate 20%. Using tape measure and online calculators have gotten anywhere between 17 and 19% depending on how i get waist measurement (varies by half an inch to an inch and half depending on time of day, what ive eaten etc).

What do you guys think?
