Alright lads, I've lurked enough /fph/ that now I've got my own story to share.

This is the Tale of Peaches, the bane of my workplace. Now obviously her name isn't peaches, it's some unpronounceable ghetto-tier name despite her being as white as a baseball, shaped like one too, but a nickname is a nickname.

Here's a little backstory

>working part time at a bar for the past 8 months, grill cook
>excellent at my job, boss uses me as a prime example of a good work ethic

Now onto peaches, if only the girl behind the name would be as sweet as the fruit.

>slow shift, prepping food on the grill
>in comes her
>words cannot describe the immense hatred I felt within the first minute of meeting her
>her hair was dyed like a rainbow
>she was easily 300 pounds at 5', maybe more
>her voice was a shrill as a banshee screaming into the abyss
>she then proceeds to introduce herself
>"Hey, I'm [unpronounceable gibrish], but you can just call me peaches. Try not to mess up my orders okay?"
>ending with a "cutesy" shit eating grin
>how I loathed that grin
>she walked out of the kitchen, presumably to meet and greet with the other waitress, godspeed to them
Little did I know this would be the end of my fun times working there.

Let's fast forward to where her shitty work skills began to show.

>busiest kitchen night, half priced wings
>working my ass off to prep food, toss wings, and ensure each order is correct before heading out the window to the waitresses
>in comes a ticket for 200 wings
>name at the bottom: peaches
>spend the next 20 minutes cooking all the wings, tossing them, and setting them up in the window
>her order takes up the entire window and even the space on the heat lamp
>holler her name and place her ticket where it can be seen
>wait to prep other orders so there'll be window space
>don't want other food to get cold

Out of all the waitresses, she has the slowest pick up time on food. It had gotten so bad that the kitchen would wait 5-10 minutes before even cooking her food to ensure that it would be somewhat fresh by the time she arrived. To put it in perspective, all the other waitresses arrive within a minute to grab their food to take it to the customer.

>kitchen does the usual, and we wait a few minutes before putting it in the window for her
>continue to prep and serve more and more meals
>reach a slow down when I realize there's still an order in the window

>look at the ticket
>has been sitting there for a solid 45 minutes
>45 fucking minutes
Go on anon, bake some scrumptious chicken breast, but before you eat it, sit it on the counter for half an hour. It isn't tasty.

It takes a lot to upset me, my last job, I was 14 months in before I finally lost my cool because another employee's negligence had gotten me written up, but that's a story for another time. Peaches managed to strike every chord in my body with dissonance even the likes of Eric Whitacre never imagined.

I switched gyms because fat people were picking on me. My left knee has a huge scar from ACL surgery and my right knee has a scar from a car accident. I'm really self conscious about them.
